@InPhamous You have a mixer?.. and if not it`s probably that.. also some cables suck, and if you have a mixer, and your mixer doesn`t have phantom.. it could also be that.. or you could go to audio properties.. go to options, properties, then go to record and see if the mic is even on

so when this vid starts those are fresh from the mic untouched? no steps before?

cuz mine are usually WIIIDDDEEE , i do like ten steps, Effects/Amplitude>AmplifyFade> pick center wave (wich takes everything clippy out) - then Dynamics> fast attack,(which then makes the wave small as yours) - then add reverb from delay effects / then move on to the filtering, i do FTT>heavy&wide, then Graphic EQ >spitclear or vocal presence

Etc, u get the picture, my way is way diff

i'd like to try your method tho, so my guess of approaching that without knowing how you get to where the vid started i can just normalize mine at 20-30% to make em as small as urs to start, idk. i'll just wait for a response haha

look in dynamic processing for a other effect what sound good to you i dont use other effects only compander & classic softknee in adobe audition if you have that there most be compander

why do you use the fft filter 2x.. it makes my recording too loud and sharp.. i need your help
