  • Hubba Hubba, Angela.

  • She's still attractive, yet, looks NOTHING like she did when in the show. A totally different person.

  • @blinx, no. That was her sister, Veronica on Daniel Boone. They are not twins, but look a lot alike.

  • @wx44wx99 Oh wow, I never knew that. I guess I need to spend more time on IMDb. That explains why I never spotted her name. Interesting. Thanks!

  • wow... incredible... she is truely a natural beauty... and oh so very intelligent... (smart enough to know not to engage in plastic surgery) she speaks to the cameraman in a kind, friendly manner. I'm amazed that she never got messed up in the Hollywood drug scene that destroys good looks and careers...

  • Before she played in Lost in Space, she played in the old Danial Boone show.

  • @TheMrBlinx Actually she was on a lot of tv. Just before Lost in Space, she was on the show Make Room for Daddy, starring Danny Thomas, 1957-1965.

  • @itsmegp46 Oh, gee, now that you mention it, I do remember that. It had to be her very first role, she was just a little child then. Thanks!

  • Beautiful Angela! Fan Brazil

  • Thumbs up if she raised your rocket gantry when you were a kid!

  • Does she still own the shoe store chain in L.A.?

  • Quando garoto eu era doido por ela.Ela continua uma gatinha.

  • I didn't know that Angela Cartwright was from Great Britain. She still looks good today.

  • @lmnresearch - She sounds like Nicola Bryant, the actress who was in " Doctor Who " as Peri Brown in the 90's. She was a Briton playing an American. Maybe Ms. Bryant studied Angela's accent before playing Peri.

  • She is quite beautiful, especially in "High School USA".

  • I think she's still very beautiful and I love the fact that it doesn't look like she's had plastic surgery. Go, girl!! :)

  • @hawaiidream1 I agree with you. She´s still beautiful!

  • i had a crush on her

  • I see her birthday is tomorrow.I am two years older then her.Happy Birthday Angie.

  • Still a beauty.

  • shame...she let herself go...also comes across as insecure!

  • @Standardfrank What do you mean 'let herself go'? Because she's middle aged now and has put on a little weight does not mean she's let herself go...and 'insecure'? She comes across as anything but as far as I can see.

  • @zzzbbbooo : Ok...Let's See...54/55 Was Her Age In 2008 If This Was The Latest Date Of This Recording...So Middle Age You Say...Hence, You are Betting She'll Get To 108/110 In Now Time Of Her Mid-Term...Let's Sample Up...Have You Seen Raquel Welch @ 55, Or Jane Fonda @ 55 Or Angie Dickinson @ 55 Or Sophie Loren @ 55, Joan Collins @ 55, Or Deana Lunnd @ 55?..Damn These Old Dears Are KICKING 70+ & Don't Look Horrendous As Angie Cartwright...She Looks Haggard & Rough For Her Age Against Her Peers!

  • @Standardfrank Those actresses are still in the business - they're not Angela's 'peers' at all - she hasn't acted in decades!! She doesn't even have to attend conventions and the like if she doesn't want to. Therefore her personal appearance is her own affair. Perhaps you're the type of person who believes if she hasn't had a boob job, liposuction and a forehead full of botox, she's 'let herself go'. I think she looks fine and she comes across as a lovely and gracious lady.

  • @zzzbbbooo : Perhaps you're the type of person who believes if she hasn't had a boob job, liposuction and a forehead full of botox = STOP HALLUCINATING...How Many Of Those Actresses ~i-Mentioned Have Had A Boob-Job Or Bottox...

Those actresses are still in the business - they're not Angela's 'peers' at all - she hasn't acted in decades!! = SO WHAT? Then She Has Good Time To Take Care Of Herself, Void Her Pugginess...PEER=FELLOW ACTOR...Not By Age!

  • @Standardfrank You're an idiot - plain and simple.

  • I pulled the woodpecker in 70´s thinking about´er, after watching a repetition programme of Lost in Space. It seems that She bloomed by 1967, she was only 15 then, but her breast was quite prominently pointing ahead.

  • Angela, your still looking good girl.........

  • i love my penny, when i was 12 yr, i just dream with penny, love angela , and now at my 57, i just keep loving you

  • i love my penny, when i was 12 yr, i just dream with penny, love angela C.

  • I love her SO much!

  • God, I loved her....

  • I think this is one of my favorite ... if not the best, crushes, as I grew up. I fell in love with her in "make room for daddy" Met her in LA Back in the 70's < I was in Navy uniform. I was just so tickled. I felt awarked , but she was so nice.

  • SHE'S ONE OF US???!!! A FELLOW LIMEY??!!

  • Those eyes still look the same. I remember pretending to be her, hee...

  • She actually looks better now.

  • weird, but now shes older, she appears jewish

  • What is she doing now.

  • Hey Angela . iLOVE YOU. God bless you always. Hello from Brasil!!

  • Still hot

  • I feel sorry for her to have to answer such dumb questions.

  • My first love, i was 6 (an older woman)

  • The interviewer should have gotten the name of the Sound of Music character right.

  • Definitely had a crush on her as a kid

  • Your still a fox!!!! You sure do have quite the past!!!! Amazing!!!! Write a book!!!

  • My first crush. Little Penny Robinson!

  • love seeing old cast members.

  • Angela and June are like actresses in some Tennesssee Williams play, everything very dreamlike and poignant. Not realistic acting, but right for that show, which was all fairy tale. Angela is especially beautiful in the black and white episodes. A pity that B&W film was abandoned as soon as it was perfected.

  • What a trooper. Still patiently answering questions about Lost in Space.

  • she was just soo bloody beautiful I could cry!! what a pom!

  • She still sounds a little bit British on a few words, like "show"

  • @cmulwee001 How do Americans pronounce show? I pronounce the 'O' the same way it is in the word 'sow'

  • @weenyone

You may have a point there.

  • @weenyone in u.s. dialects, "show" rhymes with "so", & that's the way it is with england's dialects as well. there is some difference concerning that o-sound. if someone with an english accent says that o-sound, it generally sounds to me as if he starts out with the sound of the "u" in "shut" and then drifts to the o-sound that i use. the typical u.s. accent gets to the main sound without having that other sound right before it. on the other hand, some u.s. dialects do it like england does.

  • She's originally from England, and although she predominately lives here in the States( she might have dual citizenship though), I feel she should receive the OBE award that is given to SO many British and British American entertainers as she contributed SO much to the showbiz industry in her heyday and her work is fondly remembered today.

England ALSO gave us the great Hayley Mills.

  • Does she have a snaggletooth?

  • i love this woman, since i was a child in my country Dominican Republic, i follow the serie for penny, and now she is beautiful. love you angela, kissss, mmmuuuaaaa

  • I'm still in love with this precious lady.

  • Still so very cute to this day...

She reminds me of Natalie Wood a little bit.

  • SHE IS STILL A CUTIE!!!

  • She is so beautiful. What a wonderful actress. Still captivates me after all these years. The eyes, it has to be the eyes... Wow.

  • i have alway been in love with her

  • classy lady.

  • DANNY THOMAS SHOW >>??

  • RIP

  • Baby,You're STILL fine !

  • Penny Robinson made it home after all those years lost in space....lol

  • @chappychap

She DID have an English accent as a child. You can hear it in a few Lost In Space episodes that center on Penny. Also you can almost hear it on later Danny Thomas episodes when she gets to be 10 or 11. The reason most people can't hear the English sound is because her's was very soft accent, not a heavy cockney one( though she DID do a cockney, briefly in "Princess Of Space" as the real Princess Alpha). Just like US accents vary from harsh to soft, so do British accents.

  • El problema de siempre. ¿Habra alguna forma de traducir este video al español?

  • What year was this interview?

I loved Lost in Space, it was inspirational, now what do kids watch, South Park? I gotta wonder what that does to kids. It seems that much TV today has little or no educational, artistic or inspirational value. but that's what adults have always said, "you know in my day..."

  • Wow she had and still does have that glow of sweetness. And a nice clean living show to act for at that age. Kids cant find any weekly shows to participate in like that these days. Lucky, smart, bright shining faced, beautiful gal. and still is. I bet the robot didnt make it this long.

    MUDDy

  • What a sweetheart. Angela was xxx IS one of my dream girls.

  • i am in love of this woman since 1973

when i saw her in lost in the space

  • Angela, You are a wonderful person! You are one of my fondest childhood memories. I loved you in the Sound of Music a true classic I treasure and watch to date. I met you in Granada Hills when you were dating my Uncle Cub and Aunt Lil's neighbor when I was in 6th grade I am 51 years old today. You were gracious and beautiful and I remember you as a bit Shy when I met you in person.

  • @alemelech U A CLOWN!

  • a bit fat but I would still giver er one though

  • Give her one what? One ounce of respect? We were all thinner 45 years ago.

  • a shag what else granma

  • Gee...only 3 years? I just watched the compilation of images of her and she sure GREW UP FAST! Was there a TV movie version? She went from being just this little kid to being a stunningly beautiful young lady, in 3 years?

  • I love you, Angela, then and now. :) Thank youuuuu!

  • she has blossemed into a very attractive woman and so nice too..wud like to meet in space

  • I still want her cooties :)

  • I've met Angela at several 'cons, and

she was an absolute sweetheart to talk to, and she always let the fans finish talking no matter how long it took, though most of the fans know how to keep it to a minimum.

She looked more or less like she did here, the last time I met her, and I can say that she is still a lady of some considerable beauty after all these years, and I would definitely NOT mind getting lost anywhere with her, let alone space :-)

  • I was 7 years old in 1965 and I remember thinking I would be ok with her cooties.

  • She's BRITISH

  • You're right she IS British. In a few episodes of Lost In Space, especially the ones that center on Penny, her English accent really comes out, especially in the way she pronounces her "A"'s and her "O"'s. Even before I knew for a fact that she was English/British, I always had a hunch that she might be.

  • @cmulwee001 Hi, I am English (from London) and I've always been a big fan of LIS. It never occurred to me that Angela was English, however I did notice her accent was a little different ot the other actors, so I assumed she may come from another region of the USA, perhaps the South (but had made an effort to lose the regional accent).

  • Well even before I knew, for certain, that she was British, I had a hunch that she probably was. The way she would say her "A'' 's and her "O" 's. Plus, the way she would pronounce planet as "plah-net".

If you pay attention to the episodes, that center on Penny, sometimes the accent REALLY leaks out. I guess it's harder for

a child actor/actress to completely turn off

an accent of a different nationality, than it is for an adult performer

  • Great she was your first crush, look at her , take off the glasses she is no ones crush now lol she was on an incredibly bad tv show a life time ago" let your past go let your tears flow" if she had any real talent she wouldn't have to be attending fan conventions .

  • She was possibly my first crush , and all these years later i still think she is a fox.

  • Just about every boy growing up in the USA in the late 1960's like Penny Robinson, even more than Judy Robinson.

    Kudo's Angela!

  • im 14 and i love the sound of music!! how sad am i? when i first watched it in 6th year primary i had a major crush on brigitta lol

  • 'I want a pscyh profile on anybody who's seen The Sound Of Music more than 10 times!'

  • she looks like she's done some partying at one point.

    BANGABLE.......si senor

  • I'd hit it.

  • Hey I was going to say that! lol

  • Oh yes, she and I would be "rocking" the Jupiter 2 WAY out of orbit! Oh yea!!

  • Lovable Penny Robinson, God bless her.

  • LOL...I agree....interviewer is an idiot and she is still highly bangable...

  • Angela, you still have a lot of fans here.

All the best to you in your pursuits!

  • 1. The guy asking the questions is clueless and annoying.

    2. I'd still bang her.

  • Angela still looks good even though she's in her mid 50's.

I'd like to see her continue to act. And if producers ever do a serious remake of Lost in Space, and not any joke pilot episodes with Penny as a baby, a David Robinson, and no Dr. Smith, then I would like to see her get a part.

A new Robinson space crew could bring along an older aunt or cousin on their space voyage, and Angela would be great for such a role.

  • That's about as likely to happen as a Beatles reunion, thanks to the fans and public that dereailed the Lost In Space remake from 1998.

  • ive met her twice and she was nasty both times!!

  • Was beautiful? She IS beautiful. That smile, after all these years still does it for me. Somethings just get better as time goes by.

  • @NcalBiker I compeletly agree

  • @NcalBiker - I agree. She's as gorgeous now, as ever. Space travel does that you know; your aging slows down the closer to lightspeed you go. Heh heh heh... Thank you, Angela - you were my first crush when I was a child, watching LiS.

  • she "was" very beautiful in "LOST IN SPACE".....

  • Get lost, garfieldlambda .

    She is a beautiful lady.

  • I remember the old Danny Thomas shows she talked about. Then came Lost in Space.....I guess I wasn't alone ..I see other guys who had a crush on Angela. She still looks beautiful.

  • well Iam 47 now I would still make love to her in a heart heat

  • A heart Heat?

  • I'm sure he meant 'heartbeat', but I kind of like that turn of words: heart heat.

  • @stonesharve i want also to fuck her. Where can i find her ?

  • My heart would skip a beat as a kid. First real crush.. aww u were a hottie Angela lol

  • My favorite LIS episode was (is) "Mr. Nobody" that featured a young and beautiful actress Angela Cartwright. Oh, did I have a major crush on her!

  • Pretty & classy ... what a combination.

  • For someone that is no doubt asked that, oh, probably every day, she was very accommodating and professional. Still has the class and always will.

  • She still looks great! What a class act!

  • Come on now, really -- if you passed her by in the supermarket, you wouldn't look at her twice. She become rather "matronly."

  • Everyone starts to look "matronly" in their 50s, unless you have really good genes, and work out fanatically.

  • Even though she's lost much of her native UK accent ,she still seems to have a slight British drawl to her voice. And she's still

    a beautiful woman!

  • She is the best . Have been lucky to meet her a few times. I have some of her art work. I piece hanging from the Sound Of Music and I love it. I also have many autographs from her. She is a lovely person. Very real !!!

  • I remember hearing a British accent on few episodes on LIS, especially the ones that focued on Penny, who was my favorite character, I just LOVED the innocense that Ms. Angie brought to the character. Angela seems like a real sweetheart in real life as well.

  • I loved the Penny episodes best too!
