My baby Elvedor just passed, he was a nebelung. Best man in my life hands down. so lovely and sweet and cuddly.

My cat's eyes are as misty as his coat, he got into a fight with other cats and the infection in them made him go mostly blind. He can still see shapes, and tries to fight other cats, which is why the vet had to get rid of him, so I rescued him and named him Zatoichi.

I first saw the Nebelung breed on Animal Planet and realized that I had the same cat in my house for 14 years. She is my eldest child and was in our home long before the two legged children were there. Her name is Smokey because of her misty appeareance and her personality is exactly as described. She tends to be out and about most of the day time and come home a certain time of the evening. We live in South Africa and I love my Nebelung. Can anyone tell me how old the Nebelung can get?

I got my nebelung when I was 5. She had never been handled and was very sick. Basically left to die. My mom told me to stay away from her because she would hiss, growl, scratch, and bite. Slowly she started coming up to me and now we have a bond like no other. She follows me from room to room and always sleeps by me. She's been my best companion for 13 years. And she's still playful and energetic. She's sitting on my lap as I type this. I love her <3

Wow, sounds a lot like my Grandpa's old cat. Loved to be brushed, bonded with one person (him), and one cat, followed that person around like a dog, and besides a suit pattern on the coat, really seems similar. I miss that cat. :(

Can someone tell what my cat is? He is short haired on the body, but with a fluffy, long, Nebelung tail. He has yellow eyes and orange and white splochy fur. I was for sure he was a Nebelung but he dosnt have grayish blue fur. He was a stray so we have no clue what his parents were. For the most part he acts like a nebelung and has a simular body build.
