Morgoth is awesome. Definitely holds up against the classics, Altars of Madness, Dawn of Possession and Slowly We Rot by my three fave Death Metal bands.
First time I've listened to these guys and they sound fucking awesome. I'm surprised they never got recognition, this sounds as awesome as Morbid Angel's Blessed are the Sick (which was also released in 1991)

There's a one man band called Burzum, and the guy goes by the alias of , "Count Grishnachk" for example. And the list goes on I'm sure of that lol.
at least metal makes up songs with differant notes, in pop there is the same 4 chords in each song, iv tried blues nd rock and im not just saying this but its very easy to play in comparison to metal

I guess it's too much to ask since anything that doesn't involve musical instruments is way better than what you listen to. Got no inspiration? Looking for a band name? Go look up J.R.R Tolkiens works. The first word you find for some dark lord is good to use, because you make crappy music and don't really know how to enunciate anything, so your lyrics doesn't matter anyway, no one is going to pay attention, as long as you can hit the lowest strings on a guitar and got some fuckhead vocalist. Anyway Pop and death-metal are alike, they got two large groups of fans, who are willing to pay them. The only difference is that pop gets more media coverage. They do not use real deep vocals and there Rhythm Guitarist, Bassist, and Drummer are all very talented. I don't think that the Genre I listen to is the toughest because there is no reason to believe any type of music is tougher than any other. Unless it's playing style, Then technical takes the cake there.

But this band is old school death influenced by punk and thrash the point of the music is to be dissonant, heavy, and chaotic the vocals are more of an instrument in this type of music. This band and bands like it are NOT pop. Now some newer bands look like media attempts to destroy true metal such as Attack Attack-thats pop!

@KawaiiKittyn It's a bit of everything that makes a good track. If you don't understand death-metal vocals that's fine, but there are thousands (millions..) of people who appreciate the atmosphere created and the aesthetic value of death-metal; both the guitarwork, vocals, and drums.
That said I would still say music is slightly more important than vocals, if one can be more important than the other. Vocals alone cannot really be a metal track, while there are metal instrumental tracks.
What a treat coming across this video...not going to bash new death metal because there are SOME good bands out there, but the late 80's / early 90's death scene just can't be fucked with! Rumor is Morgoth is doing a reunion tour this year. Hopefully I'm not too old to get back in the pit (41 is pushing it! lol)

Fantastic! Great days they were and it's a couple of years on from Death's Leprosy as that album was 1988 I think and this one early nineties, but it was the sound at the time. I noticed the 'Unleashed' t-shirt on the drummer another of my favourite bands of the time and still making geat tunes.

There's a one man band called Burzum, and the guy goes by the alias of , "Count Grishnachk" for example. And the list goes on I'm sure of that lol.

Anyway Pop and death-metal are alike, they got two large groups of fans, who are willing to pay them. The only difference is that pop gets more media coverage. @Chazorvigg Jazz and blues was started when slaves had nothing better to do and started hitting tin objects and free styling washboards. Playing the drums for metal is far more complex then jazz, and I know because I play both. I'd like to see you singing the way these vocalists do for a few hours straight, you wouldn't last. "They all sound the same" maybe because it is a certain genre they are playing. GO listen to other genres of metal and you'll see a difference.

@Chazorvigg Why don't you try playing Only Ash Remains by Necrophagist. Seriously give it a shot. You want to say metal is talentless? They play in D standard which is not a heavy tuning. They do not use real deep vocals and there Rhythm Guitarist, Bassist, and Drummer are all very talented. I don't think that the Genre I listen to is the toughest because there is no reason to believe any type of music is tougher than any other. Unless it's playing style, Then technical takes the cake there.

But this band is old school death influenced by punk and thrash the point of the music is to be dissonant, heavy, and chaotic the vocals are more of an instrument in this type of music. This band and bands like it are NOT pop. Now some newer bands look like media attempts to destroy true metal such as Attack Attack-thats pop!

@KawaiiKittyn It's a bit of everything that makes a good track. If you don't understand death-metal vocals that's fine, but there are thousands (millions..) of people who appreciate the atmosphere created and the aesthetic value of death-metal; both the guitarwork, vocals, and drums.
That said I would still say music is slightly more important than vocals, if one can be more important than the other. Vocals alone cannot really be a metal track, while there are metal instrumental tracks.

Fantastic! Great days they were and it's a couple of years on from Death's Leprosy as that album was 1988 I think and this one early nineties, but it was the sound at the time. I noticed the 'Unleashed' t-shirt on the drummer another of my favourite bands of the time and still making geat tunes.

@XMelkorBauglirX i cant remember who aragorns daddy was, but turin turambar was the one who the dragon cursed and was sleeping with his sister, a great story! feanors story was way too short for creating the silmarillions. but sauron was a maiar, a secondary group while morgoth was one of the ainur, the strongest of all except manwe. he was the one who put discord into the song of ea.
