  • I like your overtone isolation technique. i do the same with two hands, but I see how you use one. I've seen Manu Delago do something similar as well (most notably on his more recent Nirvana cover). Thanks for the inspiration!

  • Thanks Dante!  Yes, Manu uses it at the end of Nirvana cover. It is the first time I have seen it used on youtube from another. Would love to get together and play sometime. I too am inspired by your style.

    I'm trying to work out an 'intro to the Hang' solo. I've seen that 'wow' reaction happen over and over again, and I'd like to do a gradual build up to what the Hang is capable of.

    I'm thinking of something like starting between the notes, then bringing in the overtone edges of the Ding flat field, then the overtones (at the edges) of the notes, before moving on to the melodious full Hang notes, doubles, and chords.
