@dalzuga During the final moments of the last episode, Tony, Carmela, and AJ are sitting in a restaurant while "Don't Stop Believing" plays on the Juke box. Meadow is outside trying to parallel park her car, finally succeeding. Meanwhile, the patrons at the restaurant comprise of all sorts of suspicious, shady characters. The restaurant door opens, Tony looks up...and everything fades to black. Oh no!!! I just gave away the ending. o____O
Certainly deserving of it. For me Gandolfini and Imperiolli were the heart and soul of the show. The episode when Tony kills Ralphie was another superb episode. Quite a few of the episodes could have stood alone as short independent films, particularly Pine Barrons. Dominick Chianese (Uncle Junior) was just incredible through out the run, funny, touching and intense. To many great suporting roles to mention. There will never be another show like it...
From the episode when they had to whack Adrianna. Michael imperiolli (Christopher) should have won an acting award for his performance in that episode, he was heartbrakingly superb! It HAS to be the best show that was ever on TV...
@sparkypennyzero He did win an award for that episode, Michael won an emmy for best supporting actor in a drama series. Drea won an emmy for best supporting actress in a drama series and Terence Winter won an emmy for best writer in a drama series. This episode was widely considered the greatest episode in the entire series along with Pine Barrens, College and Join the Club.
truly amazing episode it will live on forever wrapped in my memory -- ohh adriana...

When Christopher was made, Tony told him 'the thing of ours' comes before everything, your friends, family and wife. That episode just proved it.

@Dilly5 yeah and it sucks because in reality he paid the ultimate price... twice - once with adrianna and again when tony suffocates him...

Don't know how this didn't hit the top of the charts.
Your voice is magic.
The lyrics are heart-breaking, but soul cleansing.
This is for my little girl.
Thank you Shawn Smith.
