i believe they try to cause civil unrest so they can impose martial law to finish us off.its more than obvious to me the leaders of this country are so controlled by the bankers and oil companies.what we need to do is start to listen to these people who claim they can generate power by other means than oil solar or wind.why is there no research money spent on using water for fuel or magnets for electric?overunity is possible and our energy should be next to free.this will free the people.

I wonder if Fred still blames black people for America's problems? Or maybe he blames the gays, or the lack of forced school prayer? What ever the case, Fred doesn't blame himself or any of this fellow politicians out of the need for self sustainment.

Fred Thompson is a hypocrite. We would not have 12 to 20 million illegals if he would not have contributed to an "open borders" immigration when he was in the Senate. This is why Americans for Better Immigration gave him a grade of "C". America has had enough rhetoric from political hypocrites and corporate puppets. Stay on TV and stop "acting" like you're a conservative you fraud.

Fred Thompson is now on the record as saying that he will SLASH Social Security to those currently on it. People are already having to make the hard choices between food, rent, and medicine with what little Social Security they get each month, and now this Hillbilly Frankenstein wants to suffocate them even MORE by cutting it back further. I can't believe anyone can be so inhuman to those who are already helpless, and I can't believe how inhumane people can be by supporting this abomination!

If you read the transcript of the interview, or actually watch the whole thing, you can see that he's very obviously *not* saying that he thinks America is in decline. He's talking about the perceived pessimism of Americans, that they're wanting a different approach and a new optimism in the Presidency.
