He isn't a "wet blanket" it's not really a muscian/singers job to physically entertain people, it just seems to be forced on them. I think Mr. Morrison is more a studio singer. His live performances seem more impromptu and he mumbles and changes the lyrics almost everywhere. Could be just him getting older, but I think he doesn't really care for live performances so much. His recordings though are some of the best.

I'd be pissed too if the Make Up Department had sent me on stage with a fucking hair doo like that. I love Van The Man as much as the next person, but come on, it looks like someone has surgically implanted a large pillow to the back of his head.
