in final fantasy XI aldo is the main character in the intro in the game you create your own character and levle him/her up as far as i know in the game its self you never hear of Aldo but i havnt played that much of the game (being levle 14). (and yes i do have this game and all the uptades just to make it clear)
This is probably no longer relevant, being a month late, but Aldo does show up later and is a recurring NPC throughout many of the expansions. Once you gain access to the Tenshodo, you'll discover that he's running the whole business and has moved on from simple adventuring to being one of the most influential humes in Jeuno.
Is that the music that went with that part in the game?
