I got into 4e only a few months ago. I was told to get the HB core books "for the full experience" ha. Does it matter if I get the Essentials or will I be good with just the errata from WOTC site?

@inlife9 I think you will have a great experience with the Essentials materials. In fact, I feel that they are superior to the original versions as they have had several years of public playtesting before they were revisited. =)

@LaurentLeGauche Hey, I'm all ears. I've wanted to play this with my kids, but I don't want to get caught up in all the minutia. I used to play with the old basic sets back in the 80's. Then I started buying the stuff put out by Gary Gygax. That's when it got too complicated. Any pointers? I'd like to just get some old modules and play 'em. We'll see.
