  • both cats r super fighters..............fight with the rage of a tiger n a heart of a lion.

  • okkkkay, I love both cats :) both r very powerful, but umm,to me the lion is stronger bc yeah the Lion is the king of the jungle. lol Both who cares, I just love em both. Lions n Tigers r the best!!!!

  • 42 people are son of tiger

37 people are son of lion

  • LIONS BEATS TIGERS ANYDAY

  • Lions will fuck up Tigers in a real contest.

  • Sounds like Stephen Hawking is having a seizure. It's not hard to change audio on a youtube video, so please...

  • Lol a Gun can beat both Cats BAHAHAHA HUMANS FTW KTHXBAI!

  • recording with can?

  • 1:30 Forever Alone

  • Lions in captivity eat only 8 pounds of meat vs. 14 while in the while. Wild lions are way bigger. Naturally, lions in captivity will be weaker than tigers most times.

However, if a tiger were to fight a lion in the wild, it´d have to scape bc the tiger doesn´t have females to feed him, while the lion does. If the bout is close to even, the Lion wins. Yet, the best wild Lion in the world will be a better fighter than a tiger.

Some of the best lions can beat 4 adult wild lions solo.

  • @JeanAlesiagain3 A lion with pride mostly scare 4 other lions off. Not really fighting. Eventually the 4 would overpower the single lion, given the number advantage. It would be accelerated for sure. A solo lion w/o help would not last!

Most captive animals live longer healthier, and heavier. I am not sure how you got the idea that captive one tend to be smaller! Ridiculous.

  • @BillD2012 Don´t get mad.

Sorry to tell you, but you are wrong. Captive lions only eat 8 pounds of meat per day and they are smaller than wild lions. Wild lions eat way more than that on average.

And, strong lions beat 2, 3 and sometimes 4 lions.. it´s a fact. I have a friend who works with lions, and he said that based on experience. He has seen it.

He says that tigers will always choose not to mess with lions granted that if they get mildly hurt they cannot hunt.

  • @JeanAlesiagain3 8 Ibs is a big number. 6Ibs is for tigers. In the wild sometimes the eat a lot, and go on several days w/o food. I've seen a big male stop 3 juveniles, that's because the younger ones are not fully grown. But good days like this would not last. It is very easy for the trio to chase off the loner, given some time. What I stated are also facts. I don't make things up. I gather info, from reliable sources, and a lot. I watch big cats more than movies, 100 times more.

  • @JeanAlesiagain3 Exactly right, my elder brother also works with these animals in the Australian zoo. The Tiger looks impressive and powerful and is stacked with muscles, but Tigers generally are affectionate with people and timid of other animals, even Kangal dogs boss them around. Bill does have a few good points though, and I believe the outcome of a fight would be 50/50 in any given case. I am not a Lion fanboy by the way. Im neutral with both animals.

  • @S01idsnake If a tiger is a cub, they are very social. But that will not be its lifestyle forever. I have seen both lionesses and tigers were ripped away meat by dogs in one zoo. They did not fight. because the keeper kept throwing in more pieces. Why bother? Some dogs could even be surrogate mothers, in that case the big cats are even less likely to fight the dogs. But, in extreme hunger, big cats might turn very ferocious, they could even eat their young, not to mention dogs.

  • Right! all these facts about tigers to point out that they are better then lions? think about it if it was the other way round and lions had those facts then it would be used so much by everyone, tigers have these facts but yet its not really big, they are not the king of the beasts at all, lions will always rule not because of anything but bcse of the way they were made lions are the true warroirskings, stop this pointless debate becse the truth is there, accept it and stop being very hateful.

  • @Hannjja Lions are weaker, and most importantly their skills are poor. Too many video clips available. Just manes would not be enough. Especially for big tigers(Bengals and Amurs). There is no way for lions to win, except, if a tiger is too old and about to die by itself.

  • thumbs up if you see the giraffe on 2:17

  • the tiger vs lion debate is pointless for me, it all depends on the experience of the beasts.

  • lions are the kings fuck asia

  • The lion also dodged those tiger swipes as well.

  • the tigers are more experienced fightes n hunters .bengal tiger can kill a 1000 kg gaur on it's own and their territorial fights are fatal , they fight to the death

  • Lions are the pitbull of the cats

  • theres gonna be a liger

  • this is all youtube bs there are more captive tigers than their are wild tigers because tigers are poor hunters. lions even asiatic lions live in packs and they are strong tigers dont even mess lions in asia i still havent seen a video that proved tigers could beat up or kill lions at most tigers swipe two times and walk away they are less tempermental than lions

  • ya it seems like the tiger is stronger for sure, but i seen a video of a male lion dominate a bengal tiger. Prolly depends on how much each cat is willing to fight out a battle

  • you all still dont get it.....sheesh.... Just like in any other kind of fight...ie.... dog fights, cock fights, human fights, freakin ant fights, whatever.... the unique, individual animal that is a better fighter, and lands the first devastating blow will win. simple as that. lion haters, piss off. tiger haters, piss off. Personally I like tigers chances as a whole, less than the lions, because of the lions built in defense. The mane. disagree? you are an idiot.

  • @Zionsol777 Good point, How ever, the Tiger has the obvious advantage of muscle/size/strength and the Lion has the height/length/mane (Information from National Geographic) The mane is actually a deflective mechanism more than a shield, It makes finding the jugular that much harder for the opponent. It comes down to experience, intelligence and many other factors of the individial animal. Thats why im voting 50/50

  • @Zionsol777 Manes are passive. Most cats use active defense, claws scratches hard on the enemy. Lions's faces are not cover by manes, hence vulnerable too. And their spines. Tigers have too many area to attack, with agility on their side. Don't be an idiot arguing like that.

  • Tiger is Ultimate Cat.

Scientifically -They have greater BITE Force, They are on Average 50 KG heavier than Lions & with their bulkier shoulders their paw attacks are more powerful than of Lions + special mention here of Bengal Tiger they are far more aggressive, resilient than Lions.

Infact acc to stories of old Rome Tigers won most times. In India, witness speaks Tigers have killed Lion in the past for Land Areas hence they dont keep Tigers anymore in Asian Lion's Sanctuaries to protect them.

  • @kshitijkumar89 finally somebody says something with facs, agree in everything u says and i love both cats

  • @kshitijkumar89 While the Tiger is as you say, Stockier and more robust than the Lion in the front legs, shoulders etc, its untrue to say the Tiger pushed the Asiatic Lion into sanctuaries (Gir Forest) Lion's have been placed in Gir forest to protect them from poachers. And you have to remember, even as large and well built as a Tiger is, Asiatic Lions live in prides just like their african cousin, and would likely kill a Tiger based on this lone factor.

  • @S01idsnake M8 i m from India & its half true, the pt u said about protecting from poachers is true but in past Wild Life authorities thought it would be good for profit to provide Tourist the same spot in the map where they can see both Cats at same place but that didn't happened for long as i explained.

Also the pride factor is half right cause you can see as evidence that lions approach tigers as other lions, hence only male lion comes to match him in 1v1 & other stays away.

  • @kshitijkumar89 Good point, I guess you are right. I cant really argue with someone who lives in the country where both cats reside. I have seen Lions gang up on Tigers, and Tigers hold their ground. Lions are still an amazing animal though, too many people under estimate Lions and think they are built like Cheetah's and Tigers like Jaguars. When both Lions and Tigers are very similar anatomically.

  • @S01idsnake False. Asiatic lion prides are very small. Two lionessestypical . One or two males. They don't live together unless for mating. They are smaller than African lions, even smaller than the Barbary cousins. Such small lions are not enough to thwart big aggressive Bengal tigers. Their rivalry history was long, and you can see number of tigers are far far more than lions, even though a lot were killed before the Independence of India. Don't jump to you quick conclusion.

  • @BillD2012 The Tigers only advantage is its muscles and strength in the fore quarter. The Tiger has all the muscles but not enough aggression to combat an animal as agressive as the Lion. The African Lion is also taller (4ft) and longer (10.8ft) than the short, bulky Tiger. Clyde Beatty states "The Tiger is heavier in build and surpasses the Lion in strength, But is over come by the Lions fighting ability and invariably declines combat with the latter"

  • @S01idsnake Only advantage? Lion's only one is the mane! Captive tigers are less willing to fight, I agree. In fact captive tigers are very social. But wild tigers are not social at all, they'd fight with siblings over food. That is what drives them apart. The most aggressive ones are Sumartran, then Bengal. The Siberians are least willing to fight, but most powerful. Once irritated, they'd fight. Search for "Amur Bengal" on youtude and watch the clip. Unwilling to fight does't mean they can't.

  • @BillD2012 Well ok, you drive a good point and no ones disagreeing on the Tiger being stronger, every one knows that. But this is a fight and not a body building contest. Its like comparing a weight lifter (Tiger) with a fierce, cage fighter (Lion), In other terms the Tigers got the big and impressive muscles, but lacks the combatative experience and drive to use them in the initiation of combat. Lions have earned the title "King of the Beasts" through their courage and ferocity.

  • @S01idsnake Lions were crowned "King of the beast" in ancient Europe. Because back then they did not know about tigers, until Roman Times, when people started to notice that tigers are better fighters by far. They still didn't know about the Siberian, until just a couple of hundred years ago. After this, people concluded that the Siberians are the ultimate predators. Given the power, agility and cunningness, there is no way for lions to fight these biggest cats.

  • @BillD2012 pure original barbary lions could beat siberian tigers. but there arent any left so now siberian tigers are the best.

  • @kellogs552 What a joke. How did you prove your point? Lions are weaker. Don't take their manes as armor. Even so, many parts are exposed w/o armor! Don't just spread rumors like what you're doing.

  • @kellogs552 are you stupid? Barbary lions are no where near the size of siberian tigers. Siberian tigers are the third largest land predator in the world. No contest, not that there ever should be!

  • @S01idsnake In fact, in "King of the Jungle", at least two lions were killed by tigers. In order to finish the story, they used much smaller tigers, as you can see in the clips. Still, many more lions are unwilling to fight, because tigers are far more effective in battles. So all together, 7 lions were used. You can see even facing a much smaller tiger, the lions performance is not impressive. If not fighting with a gang, lions don't have much chance against tigers.

  • @BillD2012 The Lion is also built better to brawl, and their stomachs contain more body fat to protect them from disembowelment from strikes, and their limbs are longer and leaner for grappling efficiently. The Tiger is all muscle and doesnt have a protective layer of fat in the mid section to protect it from strikes, also the limbs of the Tiger are thick and cumbersome making grappling awkward and comparitively slow, trust me dude, I have spent 10 years studying these animals.

  • @kshitijkumar89 asian lions are smaller. two things you didnt consider is that male lions have manes to protect them from attacks to the throat, also male lions are much more experienced fighters having to defend the pride from hyenas and other male lions throughout their lives!!!

  • @Zamlak Tigers are not hyenas, nor lions. Tigers are top predators. Manes would not be sufficient against the most powerful cat.

Hyenas can't fight a lion not only because they bite and only bite, althought the bite is very strong, sufficient to kill lions. Biting is slower vs paws/claws. That is why althought leopards are smaller than lions, they can defend themselves against solo lions. For a lion gang, a leopard has to flee. Protecting its rear end is difficult in that situation.

  • @kshitijkumar89 than african ones***

  • @Zamlak wont make difference coz they are practically almost same

  • @kshitijkumar89 wrong bro

  • @kshitijkumar89 The 50 kg difference is only true for the siberian tiger. The other tiger subspecies, maybe a part from the bengal, are smaller than lions. Tigers do not have bulkier shoulders relative to the lions. The tigers weight is more evenly distributed than the lions. Tigers have in fact much stronger legs, giving them better balance and paw striking when standing upright.

Tigers would win the majority of fights against lions, due to a more efficient fighting style.

  • @dringles No the tigers have bigger shoulder muscles to drag prey around. The lions have a bigger bolder attitude, there are many videos I just saw of lions making tigers submit to them. The lions head I don't mean the mane, the mussel and mouth appear bigger as well. Lions also strike slower, but they strike harder, Ive seen a few number of fights where the the tiger is taking quick swats but they don't do much, then the lion takes a big swat and knocks over the tiger.

  • Comment removed

  • @kshitijkumar89 That is true but male lions constantly have to defend their terriritory over othe males wanting to take over their pride, they have much more fighting experience than the solitary tiger and have protective manes that can defend them against bites and slashes to the throat.

  • @Zamlak disagree mate read here indrajit (.) wordpress (.) com / category / lion-vs-tiger, they claim Tigers are much agressive in Territorial disputes than lions infact lions only fight 1/10th in comparision to Tigers where Tigers fights to death as far a Mane is concerned yep its protective against other Lions but not against Tigers as they have the Longest Canines in whole Cat family

  • @kshitijkumar89 what on average 50 kg more than a lion man no bengal tiger on average is bigger than an african lion but the largest bengal is around 260-270 kg while the biggest male african lion is 250 kg but lion have longer bodies they are like 7 feet long plus a 4 foot long tail while bengal tigers have 6'8" ft (2 m) long bodies and a 3 foot tail + the shoulder height a lion is 1,2 m tall while a tiger 1 m only the siberian is as tall as a lion but with a longer body

  • @hititdj Disagree mate, Bengal tigers of the Terrai are often bigger than average Siberian tigers (Update on Aug 4, 2007, largest wild bengal tiger found is 389Kg if u disagree than read here indrajit.wordpress (.) com / category / lion-vs-tiger

    their source : Wikipedia.

    their resource is Wikipedia

  • @hititdj Lions are stronger in no way, except comparing with tiger cubs. Tiger have longer bodies, slight shorter legs.

  • @BillD2012 we're gonna stick with the african lion vs bengal tiger. the largest bengal is 270 kg i dont buy the weights over 270 kg on the tiger and its body is 2 m long and a 1 m long tail and bengals stand 1 m tall at the shoulder. now the african lion the biggest is 250 kg ( there are claims of some 370 kg but like in the tigers case i wont take it) its body is 2,1 m long and the tail is 1,2 m long shoulder height is 1,2 m

  • @kshitijkumar89 complete bullshit: Visit Rome und you'll see only old lions statues and coins and no tigers. They loved lions because lions were usually the winner. The biteforce depends on the cat and is on average actually the same. Btw. the biteforce is not importend in fights. Lions lived in Europe and North-America. These Cave-Lions were the biggest and strongest cat in history. Tigers only live in Asia, and even there are smaler lions.

  • @kshitijkumar89 thats odd cos i read somewhere that circus ppl have said that lions mostly won when the two species fought. and that tigers were actually intimidated by them. the mane gives them some advantage, making them look more powerful and alot of protection. size wise, there is some overlap between the species

  • i think both the lion and tigers are equally strong.Sometimes lions win , some times tigers win. I win always

  • @JediSuperWarrior true depends on the stamina health and the age of everycat

  • @vosago , you got some good points there.

  • yeah me too kill this over acting bastard.

  • I want to kill that korean asshole guy

  • showing from the video, tigresses are slaves of male lions

  • Surely Lions hunt in packs because they have to chase their incredibly fast prey on open flat terrain whereas Tigers hunt alone and ambush things in the Jungle. Also I thought the Lioness was more ferocious than the male as they do the hunting. The male lion just lays around all day having lots and lots of sex. That's why the Tiger is really with the male lion. He's better in bed.

  • @Kapitank

Hi friend have u seen a videos of male lion protecting entire pride of female & childrens. U have to see that first.Male lions job is not to have sex & sleep in bed. they have a duty of protecting there pride & winning of fights of between other male lions who enter there territory. There job is very tough , so only male lions are sending female lions for hunting weaker animals , if the enemy or prey is bigger & un managable , then these real kings will enter into the ring. Lion king.

  • @mahez2010 False. Manes make lion too obvious for prey, hence harder for them to hunt. An ousted males would mostly resort to scavenging for survival. Male tigers patrol their territories too, and fight much harder, to make the cubs-within safe. It is easy to capture lions on cameras, but for tigers, since they live in deep jungles/forests, it is much harder, but there are still such clips available.

  • djuuwi: i would hope a 7,000lb Rhino would and shit i'd pay to see that !!!!!! man i was born at the wrong time.wish i lived in England in the mid 1800's. bull baiting bear baiting, pit fights, PETA sucks !!!!!

  • i love when title is in english and then video is in another language

  • after watching this i'm even more convinced that a 1500-2000lb Kodiak or Polar bear would annihilate a tiger or lion

  • @use2slam2 After reading that comment I am convinced a 7000 pound rhino would annihilate a kodiak or polar bear.

  • like i have always said people are fucking stupied all to make money you make me sick anyone that thinks this is right ?

  • who's the idiot that felt they had to be kept together?

  • Yeh tigers are superior in as far as solo fights go. Accounts of ancient Romans prove it. No point in fighting though. If I was I was a tiger/lion, I'd just crossbreed some Ligers & take over the frickin planet!

PS: why is everyone on this thread incapable of forming a rebuttal without resorting to childish insults & cuss words. Seriously...how old are all you guys? 12?!

  • @Agamemnic how is every1 incapable of resorting to childish insults???

quote "how old are all you guys 12"

you just insulted every1 with a childish insult you inbred sack of shit.

  • @Agamemnic What accounts? They're fictional accounts, there's never been a pure recorded fact otherwise there wouldn't be these debates.

Male African Lions are much more prone to win with a history experience of pure conflcit in order to ensure their survival in dominating a pride one day. Tigers only 'spat' over mating or territory.

  • @WaldronicTomotron ...Actually the records ARE there. google it! Tigers are larger, stronger, faster and more agile...and that's just a biological fact (for Bengal & Siberian that is). As for experience, tigers also fight (sometimes to the death) for females.

@Morph...do try not to be so base...I obviously wasn't referring to 'everyone' in the literal sense.

  • @WaldronicTomotron ow so its tigers never fight they just 'spat'. and lions fight so they win?? LMAO. you are so thick headed. Let me tell you, in the wild a male tiger will walk over any lion it wants... its bigger, stronger more agile, faster and of course alot more beautiful. truth hurts.

  • @LowL12321 LOL stfu kid, go ride your bike.

  • @hoyfanoboulder yesh they r stronger then tigers so if u dnt think tht u can just

go fuck urself nd i read books nd some sed tigers win

some sed lions win but i just think tht lions r stronger

  • @MegaJames921 you said 'i just think that lions are stonger', well your fucking opinion is wrong. so i think you should go fuck yourself... go back to school!

  • how did the lion handle the tiger. when the lion is the on been push it back? even agains 4 lions there.. and lions fight in pack tigers dont..tiger wins over lion. and also the tiger was lil and still make the lion run lol

  • lol destroy lion lol, I just wander if anybody here doesn't know how the male lion is more expert in fights more than any beasts, the more power or wieght doesn't mean you can win in a fight, you have to have a heart never knew the fear, fight skills, fight experiences and finally the power or the wieght,,,,you got it tiger fans

  • LOL, the Lion stole the Tiger;s booty.

  • tiger is stronger but lion would win in a fight cuz its used to fighting more

  • @somecatz A Lion is substantially stronger than a Tiger.

  • @hoyfanofboulder No they are not

  • @hoyfanofboulder Your fucken stupid if you think that. That's why they have to hunt in packs rather than solo.Tiger is much stronger than a lion. Read a fucken book for once

  • haha male tiger is jelouse bcuz female tiger has that jungle fever lol. thumbs up for interiacial dating!

  • @MrEndlessly The tiger is from the jungle.. the lion is from the savannah.

  • TERRORIST izlam=DANGER.

  • Lion easily handles Tiger.

  • Tiger wins almost every time they are the biggest of cats that exist

  • @aftermaf21 Bigger means nothing you stupid

  • @OSORIOO I ment as in powerfull, which means everything almost.

  • looks like a case of jungle fever

  • LION is a KING...no other gay issues....

  • cross bread with lion and tiger??/ is that possible???/

    -----one more STUPID COMMENTATOR----

  • yeah/ their called Ligers, huge! but incapable to live in the wild because their mass is so big!

  • @farem101 .. A LION X TIGER IS CALLED A LIGER LOOK IT UP THEY ARE MASSIVE ..

  • Stupid commentator

  • man i wish i could visit that zoo. it must be awesome to watch. zoo's are boring the lions or tigers just sit there. here they are roaming around, more entertaining.

  • I see tiger and lion making friends. LOL

The tiger's paw swipes were missing the lion's head. That lion is very good at dodging those swipes.

  • You got to admit the tiger in 2:00 is really brave, he fight 4 more lions including 2 male ones, and he surely got one's head. Well, no serious hurt anyway.

  • @jimmychuang ...Brave but he didn't fight four lions...they were just there excitewd by the action

  • the tiger fight the male lion in a pride of lions. Tiger is not only brave, if he is not strong enough, he won't do that.

  • so you see the tiger makes friend with lion by swipes on lion's head?
