Hmm. thats strange :D well actually awesome, becuase I used a gel on my face that was 95% alo , and i had these huge pimples on my cheeks! The alo litterally, made the like, 2 times smalled :D
@123lolitsme pimples are caused by many factors... not having good cleansing rutine.. , hormonal, weather.... etc.. When I was teen I never had acne problems... but then when I was 21... I get a bad acne problem .My problem is hormonal and I wasnt using the right cleansing routine.. I solve it using a product... but then I've have skin problems until know that im using 100% pure natural products... so find the cause of your acne and them fight it haha but I really recommend natural products,

Warning: some people are actually allergic to aloe and will not have the same results so I would recommend testing it on a sensitive area like forearm or underneath the belly before applying it on your face or drinking aloe juice. It is not a miracle plant for everyone.
don't be grossed out by the idea of consuming it . I throw it in the blender with my cranapple juice. And i haven't been sick in a LONG time. I also used to suffer from sinus problems. Not one illness or problem since consuming it. You should give it a shot
@daris2kewl4u what do you mean by "so fast" how many days did it worked out for you? well i just tried it a while ago. i rub the fresh aloe vera gel onto my face, leave it on my face for how many minutes then wash it off. so when can i see the results??
@raqyme04 well it might be different for everyone, but for me, I already saw results within the first day, and it should clear up fully by 1-2 weeks :) I sometimes leave it on around 20 minutes, or I sometimes just let stay on and don't wash it off. I hope it helps! :)

@raqyme04 It depends on how long its been out.. of course the one from the root you will see results quicker, but if you just cut it like a day ago or 2 days, then yes you can use it and still see fast results. I refrigerate the cuttings I get. Then I can use the cuttings for around a week! :)

you should know that aloe vera doesn't have the same properties if the plant hasn't flowered yet, so, yo should wait until the plant has the flower :)

i always wanted to try it naturally from the plant itself but my mom always buys me this nature republic aloe mask sheet for me. it also has this cooling sensation and it really smells like aloe vera. it works fine for me but one mask sheet costs like, RM5? i'm so gonna bug my mom to buy me an aloe plant. save more money!

throw the flesh in a blender. you'll need enough to cover the blades though or add some water. double the power of your gel with organic coconut oil. keep it in a jar and save for later in the fridge. the coconut will solidify but it'll melt on your skin. now, you'll smell like coconut with a hint of aloe and you can use it everywhere on u:) stay cute

@amorespera17 it doesn't really matter, depends on how oily u want it. try 50/50. a lot of what happens on your skin also depends on the inside? are you eating enough fresh whole foods? you may also want to lay off bad fats and sugars, msg, etc

Umm.... As far as the plant not growing any new leaves. Aloe is somewhat slow growing. I would say have several plants, and harvest from each only as needed, allowing them to regrow. Of course, a several year old aloe is huge, so you wouldn't have the problem. Aloe gel in smoothies also does amazing things for your skin and immune system, purifying you from the inside out. If the gel is weird by itself, try it in a smoothie. and keep the removed skin, it is still good.

When it itches on dry warm skin on sunburn that usually means it's working or you might have some skin allergy and a bit sensitive to it, and put some on each day there will be a little residue usually, washing it off each morning and applying more will normally help.
My family has been using those plants for years, it's good for healing cuts and minor scrapes, dry skin etc..
It works well on sun burns so long as you get it right after you noticed your skin is red and warm to the touch before blistering, since it moisturizes it reduces skin peeling and the chance of blistering, and when skin remains moisturized it's less likely to have the scaring from dried broken skin, it may itch a little.
Anytime we need some we just tear off a pieces from the plant.

This is my experience. Okay so I have been suffering with break outs and acne for a few years. Well guess what. A month or so ago, my skin has been so horrible that it got an infection. So I saw aloe vera GEL *not the plant* but anyways, I was scared to put it on my face thinking it would break me out. @MsV4nn I've been using aloe vera gel straight on my skin and for my hair for a while now. You should leave it on at least until it's dry on your skin. Then you can wash it off. But you can leave it on longer or overnight if you wish--- there's no harm in that. Sometimes I spritz a little water on my face after the gel has dried and rub it in a little more. My skin feels and looks moisturized and clear and glowing after using aloe vera.

ive been using aloe vera plant gel on my face for about a month and my skin is amazing! its the only product i use on my face now!!!

throw the flesh in a blender. you'll need enough to cover the blades though or add some water. double the power of your gel with organic coconut oil. keep it in a jar and save for later in the fridge. the coconut will solidify but it'll melt on your skin. now, you'll smell like coconut with a hint of aloe and you can use it everywhere on u:) stay cute

@amorespera17 it doesn't really matter, depends on how oily u want it. try 50/50. a lot of what happens on your skin also depends on the inside? are you eating enough fresh whole foods? you may also want to lay off bad fats and sugars, msg, etc

Im Bahamian and we use Aloe for a lot of medicinal purposes. Cuts, to smooth skin, for digestion etc.
But on the digestion part...I would not advise anyone to do that.
It's not dangerous but it tastes horrible!
and the taste is really hard to get rid of.
(It also has a weird smell >.<)

Umm.... As far as the plant not growing any new leaves. Aloe is somewhat slow growing. I would say have several plants, and harvest from each only as needed, allowing them to regrow. Of course, a several year old aloe is huge, so you wouldn't have the problem. Aloe gel in smoothies also does amazing things for your skin and immune system, purifying you from the inside out. If the gel is weird by itself, try it in a smoothie. and keep the removed skin, it is still good.

Omg I have been doing this forever, and it works!!!! It works awesomely! When I have sunburns, and I can't use my face wash, I use aloe vera. It also works on spots and it makes your face SOOO SMOOOTH! :) hehee i bet this is gonna be flagged for spam

When it itches on dry warm skin on sunburn that usually means it's working or you might have some skin allergy and a bit sensitive to it, and put some on each day there will be a little residue usually, washing it off each morning and applying more will normally help.

My family has been using those plants for years, it's good for healing cuts and minor scrapes, dry skin etc..
It works well on sun burns so long as you get it right after you noticed your skin is red and warm to the touch before blistering, since it moisturizes it reduces skin peeling and the chance of blistering, and when skin remains moisturized it's less likely to have the scaring from dried broken skin, it may itch a little.
Anytime we need some we just tear off a pieces from the plant.

@ karlyv67: you do the same as the video but instead of putting it to a topaware . Put it in the blender and blend till smooth. Use a strainer cause it's gonna have a lil flake. When you do all that pour it in to you shampoo. It help you hair to grow ,get thicker,stronger,and shiner.

This is my experience. Okay so I have been suffering with break outs and acne for a few years. Well guess what. A month or so ago, my skin has been so horrible that it got an infection. So I saw aloe vera GEL *not the plant* but anyways, I was scared to put it on my face thinking it would break me out. What the hell, it cant get worse then what it is now. so I applied it Morning and night. And guess what. Skin cleared up! And no pimples appeared since. Simple aloe vera gel clearing up acne! :)

@MsV4nn I've been using aloe vera gel straight on my skin and for my hair for a while now. You should leave it on at least until it's dry on your skin. Then you can wash it off. But you can leave it on longer or overnight if you wish--- there's no harm in that. Sometimes I spritz a little water on my face after the gel has dried and rub it in a little more. My skin feels and looks moisturized and clear and glowing after using aloe vera.

Ugly? Yes. But so useful and good for your skin :D It's also really easy to take care of, since it's like a cactus thing I barely have to water it lolol.
