hey fritz that testo 550 is amazing! I am deffinitely getting one. I just finished my school got my certificate in HVAC and I am doing my own service calls. So far all electrical and preventive maintenance. Any advice you can give me?
I pull permit before job starts, and me Personally make a Copy and Hand to the Customer as I am coming in with New Equipment to Install, with a Copy of my Masters License, and Journeymans License!
I Advise Anybody in a State that Requires Permits to ASK for these Credentials to Insure a Licensed Professional is getting ready to Install your Equipment !
Kentucky Law , permits must be pulled !!!
Alot of Contractors leave this up to Customer,I actually Set Up and Meet Inspector !
@fritzhvac oh OK. I guess I'll learn about that later on. Thanks for the info! I'll have to look into the NC requirements for HVAC/R work. Thanks Fritz!!
I notice you are using your Testo in the Refrigertaion mode instead of the heating & cooling , did this effect your readings just curios.........Good videos.........Terry D.
@MrTERRYD55 Sorry Terry , I posted in the wrong freakin box again !!! LOL ... If you see comment removed thats what happened !!! LOL ...
Whats up Terry !!! I was told by distributor to use snowflake when checking charge on outdoor units , unless hooking up to heatpump in heating mode , then I reckon you change !!! Very GOOD question , this needs further research my friend !!!
I am still discovering stuff on them brother , like the VAC , and still tryin to get Delta P down to a science !!!
@dizziedallas Thank You my good friend !!! Thank You for all the guidance you gave me , throughout my first 2 Ruud installs !!! You know the little tips on tweaking her out were a life saver , good man !!!

hey Fritz, I have another question.
When you finish an installation like that, do you have the inspector come out to inspect it or does the homeowner do that? I wasn't sure.

Hey Mr. Cool; In this video I noticed you were doing a pressure test on the system. Can you elaborate on how that is done using the Testo?
