  • This music ROCKED back in the day.

  • @BologneyT Yeah the music is simply amazing, totally defies limitations.

  • @BologneyT what do you mean "back in the day"? its still catchier than most of todays themes!

  • @michelrpg Sure is! The problem with today's video game music is little of it is catchy or memorable. Back in the day any attempt at ambience whatever or dynamic music would suck. You couldn't have music that was just an eerie tone in the background that created an awesome experience. All music needed to be at least kind of catchy. And that's why today's games are full of audio that adds so much to the level but is totally forgettable, but older games are full of good songs.

  • PLAWK

  • I love this theme song,,I LOVE it, it makes me happy..ever since...I owned it, but lost it....I FEEL BAD!

  • @mastermage23 Great music from a great composer, Follin is a legend!

  • And people say Mega Drive is better.

I really want a SNES with this game!!!!

  • @MicroChirp I have both systems and love them just as equally, but yes this is definatley one of the best tunes on the SNES. I'd like this game too, played it on an emulator and its really good.

  • @Otouto72 finally someone else who thinks there equal! :D

  • @y2k4ever1 Haha yeah I don't really follow the vs. fanboy smuck, I'm a very proud owning of both consoles and I do love both of them as equal. =)

  • i came rainbows

  • Like M. Galway, R. Hubbard, the Follin's created some of THE BEST chip tunes in history AND just like the others, the games they made such great music for are generally poop. I'd play the games soley to listen to the tunes.

  • do u think kids today could understand the magnatude these complex games tend to have when u think there intensity

  • his brother geoff helped

  • @barracal3 Yep the Follin brothers are awesome! Lots of great gaming nostalgia attached to them!

  • I love this song, probably because 1) Tim Follin did it, and 2) It sounds like Tequila by The Champs.

  • @XxShadicxX Tim Follin is a GOD! The man was a genius who composed many great tunes over the years - this whole soundtrack is stunning!

  • @Otouto72 Of course he was - Have you heard his Solstice music? Goddamn he's good.

But yeah, this song DOES sound like "Tequila." :P

  • Where can I find someone performing this song?

Please, for the love of god. If there isn't, I'll do it lol.

  • @kescores Do it mate =) We've been longing for someone to perform this song! It would be great if someone does do it!

  • @kescores the song is plok title Jam orcremix

  • @kescores

Mazedude from OCRemix org did a sick sick remix of this.... i listened to that for years before i heard the original

  • @Uglimusashi Oooh I need to check that out!!!

  • one of the best soundtracks to a game ever.

  • @Buddha117 Totally agree! This music is fantastic!

  • @Buddha117 Yes, Tim Follin is a magician of chiptunes...I mean, its an SNES game, but it sounds SO real!

  • Too good for a snes title. NEEDS A REMIX

  • @Blade8745 Oh i am dying to hear a remix for this game! That would be incredible!

  • @Otouto72 There already is. Search for "Plok Title Jam OC ReMix" on YouTube.

  • @Tiltkid SWEET! Thanks mate!

  • @Tiltkid :O MY LIFE IS COMPLETE

  • @Blade8745 What did you think of the remix?

  • @Tiltkid Pretty good, but the original is slightly better.

  • Tim Follin is god!

  • @Levus28 Oh yeah I love Follin's work! One of my favourite composers ever.

  • *WARNING: MAY BE UNCALLED FOR* Why is it that when I hear this song, I think about guys with giant dicks walking around? Am I that messed up?! 0_0

  • @Meatfortoeat Probably because Plok himself is wearing no pants so you may be thing of a Plok band and of course they are too look like Plok which means they aren't wearing pants!

  • God I love this song. I remember there was this website where a fan made page said "Bring Plok back in Plok 64." Im sure this was made waaay back in the late 90's, but the site is closed.

  • @Y0mAMa5957 I remember that site.

  • booogie snes with a KKK pallete swap!

  • @grassinigrassini I knew there was something EVIL looking about him and that's it! Wouldn't suprise me if a white Plok sprite hack exists!

  • Jesus christ I've got a headache from the nostalgia waves.

  • @InsightVidya Sorry I imposed it on you then =) This game seems to be very popular, boy did I miss out then!

  • This NEEDS a big band remix....

it just needs to be made.

  • @Daandude1 That would be something to see for defs!

  • Indeed! U know 1 perhaps? XD

    Would be awesome

  • @Chanddlerr Haven't a clue.....surely a group of people can get together and do it you YT. You'd need to be really talented though...of course, I'm not =)

  • @Otouto72

To bad I don't have the talent too! =(

  • Holy Crap Tim Follin is a master! (first time I heard his snes music.) His music is just incredible!

  • @Bp1033 With each games stamped with Tim Follin on it you knew you were in for a treat, pity half of his games aren't worth playing though =(

  • Damn...for a SNES game, the sound's pretty well fleshed-out. You guys remember back when Nintendo was full of surprises? (Sadly, I'm too young to.)

    End of Line.

  • @e199sigma Sorry my habit continues, I missed this page =(

Yep I sure as heck do, When the games were fab, the music was sublime and the concepts just get dafter with each games. Good times.

  • Holy shit!

This is SNES? The music quality sounds like something from the PC Engine!

    Sounds great!

  • The music was created by Tim Follin, who also did the music for the SNES version of Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcades Revenge. The guy was a musicial god and could make the SNES's sound chip do things it was never intended to.

Ironically, he hates video games! :D

  • Tim Follin was one of my favourite composers from the 8-bit era. I loved his work on the ZX Spectrum. His SNES work was superb as well, he also done Rock n Roll Racing and, of all things, Thomas the Tank Engine?!?

  • I didn't know he did RnRR, but the music was awesome on that too.

He also did some pretty good C64 music too like Ghosts n Goblins.

  • The music for this game all the way through was absolutely awesome. Nothing on 16 bit came close, except perhaps some of the Sonic tunes.

  • And in my opinion Revenge of Shinobi. But enough about my opinions, this game is one I have never played before, just plucked it out of random and uploaded the title music. I have the whole soundtrack somewhere in my external HD and I'd like to upload it at some point in 2010!

  • As a game it's not quite so brilliant. Some people say the play gets a little repetitive, and I must admit, until you get to the main island, Akrillic, which is the third section of the game, where the gameplay mechanic changes totally, the levels are a bit samey.

But definitely play it. The artwork and music are top notch.

  • Will do, thanks for sharing that! Looked at screenshots and it looks quite good so I'll look forward to playing, maybe I can record it and post it here!

  • @Otouto72 Yuzo Koshiro did some superb work on the MD. Also the music for Midnight Resistance is superb as well. This is catchy though I agree :)

  • best gamne on the plkanet... hands down

  • I've not played it before but I should get at this soon, I've heard some great things about it.

  • As i was a child, i played this game hours and hours, but i never finished it in hardmode. Now, 15 years later i tried it again and I DID IT!!!! :) Heavy Stuff !!

  • Wow! Magic stuff, what a difference 15 years make, you complete Plok in hard more and I still haven't got past stage 1 in most SNES games. Go figure.

  • What a fantastic game

  • I actually haven't played this one, just plucked it out at random and that was that! Would really like to give it a go, it sounds like a great game.
