In drag racing, automatics are used quite a bit. Like I said it depends on the driver and what their driving. If that was an ls1 Camaro it prolly be better compition for you. I wouldn't even be messin with ricers. BUT you take that same car on a twisty mountain road vs that same Spec V and it might be a diffrent story. but then again an expert driver in a POS can out do a complete noob in a performance car. so yeah it depends on the situation.
stock for stock the ls1 would take the 5.0 no prob and yes consistency is the word in drag racing AODs, i dont even think or doing twisty with that fox haha it would b game over for me me and that sentra just race for fun he is real chill and i dont boast about running him down or nething
