@stigmaweb Yeah, he does get mocked a lot and does deserve some respect, but it's easy to see why he's not taken seriously when he puts on performances like this. Sure hope sure Shane gets some help, as the guy deserves it. He's a legend and a genius, but he's also a mess.

So he stopped drinking yeah? And what does he drink between the second and the third verse during the instrumental part? Water? :-D Certainly not -> Shane is known for being a straight Gin-drinker. At least Gin-Tonic :-P But yeah, this performance is really great. What I like is the key-change they do at the beginning and during the instrumental part. They don't do it in the Pogues version anymore, which is sad, because it sounds so much better. Cheers
