I listen to it maybe a lot of times, but the I understand a lot of words, a lot of the narrator is saying, for me, that´s rare! I usually understand less speaking, for me his way to speak is very enat and good, for a spanish from Catalonia, only to high school leassons, but keeping steadly learnig in my own. Good english!
@rory2066664415256 Well, no, "Caucasoids" have practiced forms of falconry for ages upon ages (at least as far back as the Ionians), and I imagine that native Africans have or have had their own forms too. Out of curiosity, why so much disdain for Mongols/Asians?
@AvocadoRogue no specfic disdain for asians or mongols...this is the most recent example of disgusting antics by humans....i have many targets all over the world..lots from my own country as well.
@rory2066664415256 Certain raptor species would be extinct by now if it weren't for falconry! If it weren't for falconers, the Peregrine Falcon would of been wiped out by the continued use of DDT back in the 70's. And how is falconry "recent"? Domesticating animals to use as hunting partners is older than agriculture!
@rory2066664415256 disgusting antics, you are calling yourself disgusting because it is very likely that your ancestors practiced this to survive just as these people are doing
thanks for sharing, it's nice video just would be nice to see live video. I'm kazakh myself and it's good to learn kazakhs preserved our national hunting in mongolia
@gymlord How much does a raptor like that cost? And how difficult is it to train them? I've read that the raptor forms a life-long bond with their handler so I am assuming that you have to get them when they are fledglings or not much older. This is something I am thinking about doing when I'm older and have the time for it. I love the outdoors and working with animals. Especialy birds of prey. I just think they are facinating animals.
@mattxr2i When you are ready you procure a baby female eagle from a nest in the mountains. When she is 4 years old she is ready to hunt wolves, fox, goats. You will have to find out how to train them. When the eagle is 10 years old they are wanting to breed. So you release them. That is the cycle of it. She may come back to visit but it is over.
Interesting, I didn't know that the eagles remained in the wild until winter-time, but that seems to be what the narrator states.
I always assumed they were kept at the trainer's domicile, and taken out, exercised, and trained when necessary. The (evident) fact that these are still wild birds is all the more amazing.
from what ive read you can do a number of trainings to a falcons and other birts of prey and depending on which ones you choose it can do fine in the wild untill reclaimed and hunted with.
great "digital story" !! very informative and well done. I think its great that a project like this is taken on by individuals, and shared with others, thanks!
Amazing video. Awesome how nature works. The wolf fighting back, my guess is the wolf attempting to shake the claws off its muzzle. I give much RESPECT to the people who live there.
Very interesting and hunour relationship between man and an eagle. I believe that they kept strong connection not only with the birds themselves but olso with the nature around. With other wildlife, animals and country. Those people have to respect it to survive and live there.
we do the same hunting in pakistan we capture babys two but majority of the time i my self like catchin adult eagles that no how to hunt it only takes about 2 to 3 yrs before there in action but now i stay in the west so ican let my family an freinds do it back home .
