kh1 is definitely harder on hard mode, but kh2 has a better story line to it.

Twilight Thorn though > than Darkside.

I beg to disagree, I always preferred darkside over its (rather obvious, though thtat was the point) "remake" that was twilight thorn............I just always thought that darkside was more, i dunno, epic

love the game man, I think in numerous ways KH2 was more epic, but I liked kingdom hearts 1 better (mostly cuz its the only I actually beat entirely) but either way, I love it a lot
