I don't suppose you or anyone has posted on the best way to build something this awesome? I have a Trustfire SST-90 flashlight that is fairly impressive, but I'd love to build one of those.

@ExplodingFistInVag ... from what I know, no led light like this (size compared to output) exists at this time, at candlepowerforums you will find a thread, called "the big lights" - there you will find some other absolutely bright and outstanding constructions- absolutely amazing..

@overdoger Es ist wohl eher ein Bug in BF3 (Spiel) ... Die Taschenlampe im Spiel ist einfach overpowered. Man wird auch noch in weiter Entfernung extrem geblendet. watch?v=Ne3LuEUMM-Q

The lumens... They're over 9000!

@Jor727 ..at least they are for sure at over 18.000 lumens- you can read about the lumens for one of this emitters at Luminus homepage, datasheet for sst-90, highest available binning for this emitter at 2250 lumens each emitter at 9amps, but this light runs at 13amps...

Hey mate. Been planing to mod a maglite so I have some questions.

Do you have any experience with a driver that has lo-hi-beacon modes only? I have been looking on a CPF and I havent found anything like it. lover018 is my CPF acc.

And also this driver needs to run in a very wide spectrum of voltages like running 5-6D maglite on a Li-ions or NiMh or primaries in the worst case.

Info would be real useful since I am new to this and need some input from experienced modders. Nice light btw. You rock.
