Why do people have to get so bent out of shape? Some called me scene/emo because of how I have dressed and styled my hair, which so happens to be the "rocker" style. THANK YOU. at least as far as the separation. emo kids got lumped in with scene. scene kids are kids that go with the scene. they don't actually care about the music they just wear whatever they think will get them accepted. emo is a subculture that was started in the 1980's the revolves around music and has evolved and is still around. i have a ton of emo friends and you always gotta pay extra attention if you bring them to metal or hardcore shows its sad really :/ but SCENE kids can die.

@usuckdong well in defense of emo/scene kids thats not the best argument to use against them. thats like saying money is equal to happiness which just isnt true. for example you could have all the money in the world but if your whole family died or something, id still say you have a pretty shitty life. in contrast you could be poor in a third world country but if you have a loving, supportive family its still possible for you to have good life. theres more to life than material possessions.

I for one have been through shit. My friends are suicidal, I've gone through death in my family, etc, etc. 'Emo' kids don't always cry. They usually suck it up in public.

I agree with what you have to say, actually. I mean....I used to get really pissed off with emo/scene kids but now It's just like...."It's just a style, let them be who they want to be," they don't bother anyone...it's just the people who choose to not let it go are the ones who make emos look bad. I mean emo and scene is just a style, like they had styles in the 70's, 80's, and 90's. It's just a trend and people need to get over themselves.

Damn you're hot... too bad I completely disagree. No one would dress like "emos" dress if they don't want attention. That's just a fact. Obviously someone's eye is going to go towards the ugly girl with cotton candy hair and colored extensions instead of the average joe. And I also know for a fact that if my life sucks I wouldn't want attention and people staring at me.
Conclusion = "emo" people want attention
