  • You're so very calming; this pleases me.I could listen to you in your tie-dye t-shirt all day.Being young and green etc I don't claim to know how to recognise wisdom, but it's as if I innately trust what you say..Thanks.

  • man u seriously relax me. i dont think i have a serious problem or nething but u just chill me out when i turn on ur vidz plus i learn somethin too

  • good video and he explained alot on care of oneself and being positive i should learn from this as i am severley mentally ill or a ocd freak whatever and have social phobia and feel very guilty and unsafe and a bad person but we all in the end

  • i am 21 and hav come to terms with that i am an alcoholic i really do want to stop and get the thoughts out my head and this was the only video on the internet that i could find, atleast trying to adress and give help.please let me kno what you think i should do,but if its help groups and stuff i cant do that like i said i am INCREDIBLEY SHY and just want to kno if u have any ideas thankyou......from yhe uk

  • i dont no were to start with this comment so ill just go for it i am severly depressed and have done a crying out for help attempt twice my father died of alcoholism,my 2 brothers are heroin addicts and my mother has really bad mental health problem she talks to herself and does really odd things,my grandma died in a state of demensia and i think thats were my mum is going and were i will end up i would go to my gp and ask for pills but im incredibly shy if im not drinking or doin drugs.

  • I don't think people can understand what you're talking about without having been through that kind of healing...I was extremely angry with my parents for always suppressing their emotions and not being able to change themselves. I could not handle it -but after MONTHS of trying to face it without breaking down every time -I finally realized they could never change if they did not want to. In the mean time, I talked with people, and they gave me the strength to trust myself and write.

  • I admire your honesty and thorough talks. A lot of problems can be solved by having a consistent routine, and development of healthy habits. For me, what eventually ended the turbulence of adolescence was getting out all this negativity, yelling, acting immature, and brooding. However, the consistency of routine, spending time with my mother, and finding one really good listener -helped me know that my feelings were valid -and that helped me accept life and see it from a different perspective.

  • I thought this was Bob Weir when I opened the link.

  • Rarely do I watch a vid twice but the information is relevant to everyones life and is usefull. I feel like I created all of my "problems" as defense mechanisms to reality and Big Pharma wants my problems covered up instead of dealt with. What about when you like and don't like your problems simultaneously? Too much confliction in these condensed hemispherical organs

  • 1 in 4 people suffer from mental illness at one point in their lives.

  • i really though i was alone ...thank God my conclusion is right!!

  • u know abfily works good for bipor not that i have it but i have seen ads about it on tv i think they only have it in the u.s tho

  • great vids, actualy amazing! thumbs up!

  • what if you think the one that is going through changes is trying to change you

  • Good vid. I am bothered by the fact people post on YT their mental issues-then say I just don't want to talk, then yammer on for 8 minutes-then refuse to allow comments on their video. So what is the purpose, did they run out of dope to smoke or been waiting in SSI to approve them. I have clinical depression, have returned to work and take my Li+, and don't care to look back. It is sad what is happening to our youth-they are upset with their personality, so they need pills.

  • Hi John, thanks for the viral, this seem to hit a cord with me, you confirm thoughts of mine and expand upon, i don't think Psychologist's should be allowed to practice till they got white hair... a thank you.

  • If you are looking for free psychological support, you should visit onepurelife.com22 (just delete 22) , they have a psychological help section, and it's all free.

  • in my opinion INSANITY is to continue to do something over and over again and believe each time ur going to get a different result.

  • arwinlovessarah: "Love" is the definition of insanity is you look at it from a pragmatist's point of view. Give it a little time and Sarah won't seem like the only girl in the world for you. Spend more time with your guy friends and you'll get a different perspective on life and love.

  • Ok mr.what ever ur name is what about the people who go so far off mentally that they cant live a normal life. U cant work u lose all ur friends ur scared of the outside what do u do then. im a mental patient and i lost everything i sat at my grannys house for a year and a half listening to people like u it did me no good. Now im on meds im back in college and living back on my own but if i would of listen to u i would be still sitting at my grannys house 5 yrs agoSO WHAT DO U SAY ABOUT THAT?

  • all they can do is try and help

  • @chill2k9 because you convinced your attitude ...to medication and the mental heath.. petiole..only option... I've been in and out of meds they don't do nothing except make you lazy and bury your core problem,.... believe me when i say

  • lify21 dude if u know anything about the meds and mental health each individual and meds work different. ive been taken meds since june of 2000 and i have four different mental illnesses and one thing i do know is u have to find the right meds that agree with ur body and BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY ive most likely taken alot more different meds than u.It took me seven years to finally get the right combination and ive been running strong for three yes now, each meds work different for each individual

  • @chill2k9 .your thoughts cause your chemicals in your brain to react not the vice-versa... AND remember every one is unique and have different thought patterns .. i tell you this the only meds that helped me were "Seroquel."..which helped me sleep ..but again .the effect was less than the side effects i gained 60 LB in just 6 month..and after i started exercise ..i STOP them .well this is what i say "do what you think is best for you" .

  • what drives psychiatry to these conclusions is MONEY. medicare part d passed into law 5 years ago already has liabilites in the 10's of trillions of dollars and that alone would be enough to bankrupt the country. please watch jebord2009 "pbs part 1, section 3".

  • So, i have a seriuose question. I have been recently studying and trying to understand people. I have found out and openly confess that the human race is the problem on this earth. That to save this world we need to all die. I have even thought about my own suicide and i find happyness in knowing i would help thep lanet. We are but an organism on a bigger organism. I am not depressed or anything, i have just lost all hope for this shit race. Any thoughts or seriuose opponions?

  • be the change you want to see in your own life, u cant change the world.

  • @Fichengafter Sorry to hear you feel that way. I might agree with you but the earth has experienced far far worse than Humans. 4 example, CO2 levels in the past were many time higher than they are now. All tree & plant life on this planet were all but wiped out a few million years ago. The Earth keeps cleaning itself and bringing forth new life and each time it does this it evolves it's life to a higher form. We are apart of this earth's creation along with animals trees bugs we are the earth!

  • @questioneverything8 We R the Universe awaken 2 itself able 2 look back upon itself and say, with conscious intention: I am 1 with the creator I am one with the universe. We are the only creature able to do this. We are the greatest achievement, the trophy of the universe. Appreciate what the universe has given us and is offering us. We cannot destroy the earth only our selfs. The earth as you know it a self cleaning, life supporting, giving, planet that will continue long after humans R dead

  • dear i recommend to have look at Venus project .i conceder it an alternative solution to all our misery .thx to who treys to help any body

  • You want to have reason to live? Watch Bill Gates talk about wiping out humanity to save the planet from carbon dioxide!!...can see on yt channel "deathspleasure". It make me want to LIVE and take real deep breaths!

  • what do you think i shall do mr.psychetruth.

i am only 19 years of age and i love this girl very much. but she has done nothing for me, she always upset me, broke my heart. it is becoem so depresing for me, she never listens to me also, she always listens to other people and believe them over a boy that loves her alot.

  • before u hurt urself or hurt others??????

    u need... therapy

  • the body and mind has the power to heal any mental or phsical problem

  • But what about all of the volunteering for prescription drugging? We / many of us go to the general practitioner if not asking for SSRIs then at least hoping for them ore expecting them.

  • That's why you see so many pharmaceutical advertisements. They hope you will walk into the office, self diagnosis and request their product.

  • I recommend zz top - La grange

  • Psychology doesn´t help people with mental health issues.

    Mental health does.

That is one of the greatest and most enviously kept secrets of the entire psychiatric profession.

  • People forget that, we are human and we all HEAL.

  • except amputees

  • I remember, as a teenager, delivering a piano to Fulbourn Psychiatric Hospital, Cambridge, UK. Urine-smelling Coridoors echoing with distressed cries, sad, drugged-up souls staring out of windows. Even then I knew this was doing them no good.

  • I was thinking about Psychology in the future. I was looking for someone with experience so I have a better view of what I may have to deal with. And now I think I have a better view. Thanks.

  • Gee as Holistic Counselor, When people discover I have health issues... Far out many put downs or people make claims.

Worst thing people forget to ask me what do I want... but that is the silly world I live in.

  • ice cream socials.... Man that is classic terminolagy .

  • Although I may get some flak for this, but the work of Richard Bandler and John Grinder have been shown to work in getting rid of unwanted behaviors. Called NLP or Neuro-Lingustic Programming(a combination of tools that work), was created to find the problem and solve it. Its complex to explain but the gist is that when you actively change those things in your experience, change the aspects of sub modalities such as feelings motion, picture size and distance, location etc, and sounds tone location

  • hey man you may look old but you are wise and u got my respect, thanks for the help. ur awsome

  • Lol

What an on the sly obsevation

  • thanks, great thoughts!

  • There's time, doc, to earn a million dollars. If you truly can cure autism & schizophrenia, etc. then you should take the James Randi Foundations million dollar challenge and win a million dollars. All you have to do is prove you can do what you claim and BAM, a million dollars. It's that easy.

  • They offer a one-million-dollar prize to anyone who can show, under proper observing conditions, evidence of any paranormal, supernatural, or occult power or event NOT for curing a mental disorder.

There are alternative health practitioners that resolve mental disorders all the time.

World Health Organization studies show that in 3rd world countries 60% of schizophrenics recover all on their own as well.

  • Also James Randi is a liar, there are people who passed his tests and he did NOT pay! He just wants to be a big name in the game, and more attention and money.

  • Who might those be? I don't have a million dollars but I'd gladly give a lot of money to whoever can provide me with the means of getting the Nobel Prize for proving amazing cures & treatments to disorders the mainstream world still has no solutions to. I'm sure a couple of friends of mine would gladly contribute & help me raise money to bring cures to autism & schizophrenia to the world. Just think of all the millions of people who have to suffer just because they've never heard of Dr. Breeding

  • Also James Randi is a liar, there are people who passed his tests and he did NOT pay! He just wants to be a big name in the game, and more attention and money.

  • the problem is that nobody does anything about public awareness and stigma- I was diagnosed late and actually chose change and did the work with a very good therapist- I was mocked, slandered, laughed at and it came from not only my own family but also a medical doctor- oh yes, I have a story Steven King probably could not write- message me for email if you want it from someone whos "been there"

  • hohoho psychedelic t-shirt... i bet he has tried LSd in the past hohoho hahaha

  • We were actually talking about drugs the other day. Dr. Breeding hasn't taken any mind altering drugs in over 25 years but did say there was a time he experimented with them.

  • Ummm "Psychtruth," could i in any way send Dr. Breeding an email? Could you send me a message with his email? I looked on his site, but i don't know if he would get it directly? Thank you-

  • His email address is posted on his website in the contact me section. It's a direct email address to him.

  • Phineas P.Gage,an able,hard-working and universally popular man.Gage had a serious accident removing parts of his brain. His injury produced a totally different temperament and character. He was aggressive, demanding and irreverent.Although not genetic,Gage is a reminder of how certain parts of the brain can shape ones personality and if not functioning correct (enviromentally or genetically)can lead to distressing conditions, such as paranoid states, depression and schizophrenia.

  • The brain is not only the most complex organ in the body,it is also arguably one with great capacity to reinvent itself. This is why we can learn new skills, why we forget others, why stroke victims can recover lost faculties.Nutrition plays a role in adhd, mental decline, depression, memory loss and impaired reasoning(a tribe in Papua New Guinea springs to mind).Experiences, shape our attitude such as morality, forgiveness and compassion.Intelligence isn't due to 'clever genes' but enviroment.

  • do you take drugs such as marijuana or acid. i am wondering if ones chances of getting schizophrenia grow with the use of marijuana. I am 16 years old and very confused whether it is depression or schizo. I do talk to myself a lot and have had a traumatic life with the use of substances. Why do i think there is no reason to live and that living only causes more pain? help me.

  • Yes psychosis has been linked to marijuana and LSD use.

Drugs also deplete your body of nutrients which causes and stress and mental health issues.

    Watch these videos in my channel;

"Facts & truth about Drugs Illegal & Legal, Nutrition Health"

"Stress, Anxiety Drugs The Truth About; Nutrition by Natalie"

"Smoking Marijuana Mental Disorder - Psychology with Sandy"

  • The problem is that the drugs are the only way to get away from my problems, now i know it sounds weak but i just see no solution.

Are teenage years meant to be hard because emotions change so fast and confusion hits me really hard, so if all this stuff is normal i dont need to be scared. thanks for the vids.

  • That is a vicious circle you want to try and get out of. You may 'feel' better, but you won't be better but worse. Try to slowly and gradually take less each time.

  • Careful, correlation is not causeitation. I can drop peer-reviewed evidence in overwhelming proportions that shows it takes a predisposition. The vast amount of people who use do not have problems.

  • I'll accept that challenge.

Please, email me those "peer-reviewed evidence in overwhelming proportions that shot it take predisposition."

  • Do you have any idea how many tens of millions of people use marijuana on a daily basis? If the herb was as dangerous as you are implying, there wouldn't ever be an empty bed in a psych ward. I will gather up some of the stuff I have on disk and show you the relative harmlessness. Give me a couple days.

  • Why do you belive, that you are right with that you think, and that the other side is a "big lie"?

  • Maybe because we have both personally met a number of people that were diagnosed with severe mental illness but fully recovered after leaving the system and seeking out alternatives.

There is research showing that more than half of people diagnosed with schizophrenia fully recovery in underdeveloped nations where psychiatry drugs aren't used as widely.

Why would someone assume that mental illness is anything other than a temporary extreme state of mind?

  • I allways depends what someone is understanding under the terms "mental illness" or an "extreme state of mind". You are just talking about schizophrenia but asume, that it is the same with all "mental illnesses" or did I get this wrong?

From where do you take yourr facts and trom where the other side? And WHY is the other side just telling a "big lie"?

  • Nope I don't assume they are the same thing. I know two fully recovered schizophrenics, a fully recovered bi-polar, several fully recovered ADHDs, etc.

Why is the other side telling lie? Money

Do a search and read about this.

"Jablensky A., Satorius N, Emberg G, Anker M, Korten A, Cooper JE, Day R, Bertelsen A. Schizophrenia: manifestations, incidence and course in different cultures. A World Health Organization ten-country study. Psychological Medicine. Monograph Supplement 1992;20:1-97."

  • But why do you think, that everyone can recover?

I don't think, that everything is about the money, because not everyone is earning money who is on the other side.

I had autism all my life and adhd traids and was never taking medicine. I think too, that medicine is not a solution and you can change in a sertain kind of way and learn stuff, but of course -how I see it- there is also in most cases a genetic bases, or is this also just a lie, that severall resaerchteams found gens?

  • No genetics research has successful found a causative relation between a single or combination of genes and any mental illness.

The current theory is that genes "predispose" a person to an illness but some environmental factor has to interact with the genes for the mental illness to show up.

You're genes don't change. Sickle Cell is a true genetic disorder. A person is born with it and they have it always.

There are some real brain disorder but that's not most mental disorders.

  • Twin studies found out, that when one twin is mentally ill, the other has the same mental or brain developmentall illness most of the time. Not allways, that is right, but it shows, that the claerly exists a genetically disposition and there it is the question if just some or all can "recover".

  • It's not most the time. It more like if one identical twin is schizophrenic the other twin is twice as likely to develop it as non-identical twin with sibling who is also schizophrenics.

That fact that all twins don't get it shows that the disease is not CAUSED by the genes themselves.

If you have two twins walking around with same genes. One is mentally ill and one is not. The solution isn't in genes. The cause and solution lie in the differences between the two.

  • When you have one autistic child, the other identical twin is also autistic with a change of 97%. That is very high.

But with every mentally disorder that is different, that is right.

A part is of course the gens, not all and not allways, that is right, it allsay depents whaat kind of disposition it is and what happend to the person in lifetime. Thats why I meant, that some can "recover", but all? I don't believe so.

  • If one identical twin is authistic the other twin has an 85% chance not a 97% chance.

Again, identical genes but the disorder isn't always identical, so genes can't be the only factor.

Keep in mind identical twins have the same prenatal exposures, the same vaccines, the same diet and similar parental treatment.

Genes aren't the only thing they have in common.

  • "There are some real brain disorder but that's not most mental disorders"

Take autism for example, everyone is saying something different, from over mercurial poisening, over mental disoder, brain disorder to a "way to be". Interesting...

Everyone assums something different. But how I noticed it, that one "mental disorder" is usually not comming allone...

  • Dr. Bellonzi actually treats children with autism. He has cured some. Some he has not been able to cure but he has been able to create in improvement in all of them.

I think Autism has an actually psychophysical component personally.

  • I saw some videos too, where it was said, that the autistic children were "cured", but, what I think, they had just high-funcioning autism, and there it is normall, that the children "improve" and suddenly start to spaek, even without any therapy and medication. And, it is also normal that a lot of autistics learn to behave "normally" within their livetime.

English is just my second language, so I didn't understand the meaning of: "psychophysical component". Could you please explain it to me?

  • Something is physically wrong with the person's body. It's not just a mental or psychological problem.

  • "Something is physically wrong with the person's body."

    What?

And why do you think that?

  • "I think Autism has an actually psychophysical component personally."

Can you please explain this a bit further, why do you think that and what you consider as the physical problems in autistics?

  • Do some actual research and see if you can find any genes which are actually associated with autism.

The whole gene thing is unsubstantiated theory.

No one has ever found a single gene or combination of genes which cause mental illness.

I would recommend a book called "the gene illusion".

  • "No one has ever found a single gene or combination of genes which cause mental illness."

Just go to google and tipe in "mental illness" and "genes", there you find pages.

No, genes is not the only thing they have in common, but with a sertain gencombination you have a very high risk to develop mental illnesses.

  • I did research on this for years actually, but your reasons aren't logical for me at all, because you even admit kind of, that it also has to do something with the gens, when you admittet, that identical twins are having a higher change to develop a mental illness, when the other twin has one.

But then you said, that they also have other things in common. Did you actually do some research?

It is very easy to get informations about this topic, you know?

  • Read the book, "The Gene Illusion" by Jay Joseph.

  • The drugs make my symptoms worse yet I am forced to take them. Personally I find talking to a psychologist or psychiatrist is more helpful. My psychologist has been laid off. I never get to talk to my pyschiatrist without nurses and social workers present. Do you think if psychiatrists got to talk to their patients they may understand us better?

  • Many psychiatrist subscribe to the biological psychiatry model that mental illness is result of physiological brain illnesses. Therefore if they talked to their patient, they are only talking to a diseased brain and it won't result in any recovery.

It's also much more profitable just prescribe drugs than to take the time to sort out someone's life problems or address their past traumas.

  • thank you thank you thank you!

  • i still love you dr breeding. you are just the best.

  • "So called Schizophrenia"?? What school did you get your degree from? Um, what about serious psychological problems that won't be cured with hugs & flowers? More importantly, where can I find peer reviewed academic journals that describe double blind studies that prove your methods actually do cure what mainstream medical science says ARE permanent conditions?

  • You can start by reading this one.

  • The Cambridge Journals search feature is giving me some trouble but I'll try to find it & look at the data. Was the research based on the findings from 1 study or more? If so, how many? Are there other reliable sources that will back them up? How many subjects were involved in the study? Was it a random sample of the whole population? Was the study multiple choice or open-ended questions? What was the order of difficulty of the questions asked? And what school did you get your degree from?

  • Just search for "Schizophrenia: manifestations, incidence and course in different cultures."

The study was repeated three times each with similar results.

  • "...double blind studies that prove your methods actually do cure ...". Where did you get your understanding of scientific evidence? Science does not claim to 'prove' anything. An assertion is made, evidence is gathered, and then a judgment is made as to what extent the evidence supports the assertion. No scientist ever talks about 'proving' anything. Also, whether a condition is 'permanent' is not a judgment that can be made by scientists, only by crystal-ball gazers.

  • This is a semantic argument hardly worthy of a serious response. Clearly, all I'm asking is for strong evidence that this method actually does what is claimed. That's an entirely reasonable request considering his denial of serious mental illness contradicts what is held by the vast majority of the medical science community. It's almost the mental health equivalent of saying all you need to recover from Cancer is positive energy.

    Self-Help & Actualization Movement = SHAM

  • You asked for a study. Here is one. Look it up read it.

There are also about 10 people with videos in my channel that were all diagnosed with severe mental illness but have fully recovered after leaving the system.

  • isn't there research that shows that the longer one is in a psychosis the more permanent brain damage can occur? My sis was recently let out of a clinic but stop taking her meds four days out. and threatens to run away if we don't lay off trying to get her to take them... we don't really know what to do. she had severe audio hallucinations before the clinic and her meds will be waring off in a few days. she is already acting pretty strange, disappearing for hours at a time...

  • Do you recommend looking into Scientology? Some of the concepts and terminology sound similar.

  • I support CCHR but I do not agree with Scientology. I will continue to give my support to CCHR but overall I have no desire to convert religions to Scientology. I'm perfectly happy with the way I'm going right now with my life.

  • Dr. Breeding is talking about "Re-Evaluation Counseling" or "RC". The central figure of RC is Harvey Jackins. Harvey studied Dianetics in the early 50s before Scientology existed. This may have had some influence on his development of RC but they are different subjects. Dr. Breeding is not Scientologist by the way.

  • I had a psychologist called Hilderget. I really felt she was helping me. Then the N.H.S suddenly dispensed with her services.

  • Sleep, yes sleep. SLEEP APNEA. People should look into this before running to the psychiatrist and zoloft. You can't know you have it and if you do not how bad it could be! Symptoms of sleep deprivation = same as depression and adhd!! Kids can have this problem too, it's not just old men that have it!

  • Thanks for the advice - it's difficult to know what is going to assist one with mental issues - gotta say, on this channel most, if not all, of the information has been helpful.

  • i dealry wish you were my psychologist. good job! Don't stop :)

    -Fiona

  • I like the video but please eat something you look anorexic!

  • in 5:45 he is saying that the mental disorders pass with time but what about people who suffer of depression for 20 or more years?

  • The DSM even says MAJOR depressive episodes last about 4 months and if untreated the the person will return to normal.

I serious doubt very many people are constantly depressed for 20 years. There are probably depressive cycles.

If depression last for a long period of time though, the cause of the depression is still present and never addressed.

It could be thyroid, hyperglycemia, too many problems in living or their life just sucks and depression is an appropriate emotional response.

  • I have depression and I refuse to believe that it's caused by a chemical imbalance because not one of the psychiatrists that I've went to along time ago ever proven me by medical tests that my brain is broken. I have depression because I'm overly emotional, I also admit that at times I feel sorry for myself, yeah! everyone does at some time of their lives. I also get depressed when I start thinking about my dead mother, I guess that isn't normal according to the eye of Psychiatry.

  • When you say Rocky erickson got his teeth cleaned up, what do you mean? What procedures did he do to his teeth?

  • reminds me of a video i saw on youtube 'demise of the buddha' or something along those lies. The Buddha's dieing words were 'all conditioned things are changable, they are not lasting.' I think psychtruth had a video about buddhism with a similar quote.

  • correction on a typo, not "lies" but "lines".

  • Can anyone make a transcript of this and post it somewhere?

  • I'm so glad I found this guy. Please, people, I know he looks and sounds "new age", but this IS the truth about our minds. I've been put on medication twice to control my serotonin levels with no success at curing depression (only short-term treatment), and then one afternoon with a tape from Tony Robbins I took control over my own emotions and have been living life to the fullest and loving every minute ever since. I'm wasn't diseased, I was in control the whole time!

  • Good video! Thanks for that John :)

  • Groovy John! I would be surprised if a lot of people were generally familiar with the concept of "Present Time". Everyone experiences it one time or another without noting it other than how good it feels when there. When you are depressed you are not in present time, rather you are "stuck" at some point in your past where you suffered loss. Time is a river of "nows" and you will always be your happiest and healthiest when you are spiritually in present time.

    DJP

  • PS:Physical objects like our bodies are always "in present time" like the rest of our environment, being spiritual in nature we can spiritually live or be wholly or in part in the present, past or future to a degree relative to present time. Have you ever been thinking about something in the past while doing something in the present like driving or driving nails and the guy in front of you stops or slows or you hit your thumb with a hammer then you know what I am talking about.

    DJP

  • If you've had college over here in the states then you've probably had a psychology class. Were you paying attention, you'd know that the entire "scientific field" of psychology is based on hypothesis, not theories. Until we understand the mind, which at last check was still a grand mystery, then making any absolute judgment as to what is right psychologically is illogical.

Psychology is the pseudo science; this video is just a step in what more and more people are thinking is the right path.

  • Then again, BitterHalo77, I'm a freethinker myself, so let me point you in the direction of a scientific study that adds credibility: recent studies show that people have a MUCH higher chance of being diagnosed with a mental illness after prolonged exposure to other mentally ill patients. There are only two known ways this could be passing, either physically (like an airborne virus, which I think we would have found), or as a meme. The latter suggest these "illnesses" are learned behaviors.

  • I love your videos they are truly healing so thank-you for that

I have a question/concern that you may be able to shed some light for me. My husband is going on Vancomycein for six weeks directly in his veins to treat a staph infection then he will have to endure 3 months of Levaquin 750 mil.

I'm afraid the high doses will cause problems.

This is unavoidable since he needs the drugs.

What can be done to help counteract the drugs.

He is 55 and post surjery for disk fusion.

  • well put!!! thanks for posting!!!

  • Wonderful video, watched all 17 minutes closely and have taken a lot away with me. In particular, that technique you mentioned at the end sounds rather intriguing, the "up and out" one. Think I'll try that over the next few days, but anyway an inspiring video. Thank you.

  • I always knew Dr.Breeding was a Deadhead! Thanks for confirming so much of my own conclusions, my own experience. A video like this just makes me more confident in going forward to help other heal like I did.

Dr. Breedings most important video yet.

  • Great Video. <3 I enjoyed watching it.

It give people and me hope that anyone come overcomme their Mental issues.

    thxs,

    Ann

  • I've seen similar thoughts on what you call "being in the present." A Buddhist monk by the name of Thich Nhat Hahn has also taught about it and he calls it "the present moment". The actions that you talk about he calls "mindful walking, mindful breathing, mindful drinking" and so on. I just found it fun to see how you and him came up with similar views on the self and the mind.

  • perscription drugs are drugs with a lable

  • As always, Dr. Breeding sends out more truth about psychiatry aka "better living through pharmacology". Instead of just giving out the pills, he does somethings fairly rare these days. He listens. He listens to what is going on in someone's life and then through caring and compassion he helps these people through their problems. Wonderful videos and books!

  • great video.
