I have one of these, I love it, but honestly I prefure hand rolling my cigarettes, nothing beats that sense of acomplishment when you know how to do it properly, also I believe it's also better hand rolled

When I try this the rizla is too loose around the filter, so the smoke goes past the filter and it's too strong. How do you do it so the paper is tight around the filter?

just keep practicing at it, you've gotta like get the perfect amount of tobacco. Though I suggest you learn to hand roll better, so much better than what a machine makes.

I found that it did that on my first roll, too. Try mimicking Snoopy's exactly, and rolling a bit faster and harder, it worked for me, they're coming out perfectly now.

ive had the same problem as other people are saying about filters.

Im currently using normal zig zag papers and a rolling machine like this, extra silm filters, but they always fall out !, So i tried sawn SLIM filter tips and they was perfect ! try some bigger filters guys they seem to work like a charm !

Bought one a bit ago and for some reason mine always come out really sloppy.. as in, the filter is always very loose and i have to roll it around to close it up better. Same happens if you put lots of tobacco in or only a little.

To answer a couple of comments:-

The top of the paper sits virtually against the top of the fabric, you don't put it behind the filter or the baccy in the trough.

On my roller, which is 20 years old now and on its 3rd rolling canvas (you can even get spares for these things..) there is two sets of holes so you can adjust how tight the roll up is. For a standard swan filter I use the pair that are closest to the lid near the hinges.

You can roll them quite fat, you need to use quite a lot of baccy or otherwise it becomes really lose. I brought one the other day, I suggest using slim filteres or the fattest you can find too. I used thicker papers too, swan flavored ones.
