This isn't opinion, this is fact: Call of Duty is a casual, "everyone can get a kill" shooter. It's how it was engineered. The developers said themselves "Even a new player can get a kill or two against a hardened veteran." If you take it, or its godawful support seriously, then you don't understand the franchise very well. You get EXP for everything from falling off a cliff to shitting your pants. Fuck This Game.

Every DLC splits the players in two groups. If they release 8 map packs then there are 256 different combinations of map rotations. That's probably the reason why they are releasing big packs. In general Activisions DLC policy sucks. But why should they change it? Every game breaks records. As long as the players keep paying nothing will change.

I don't think you're overreacting, you're 100% correct. What does surprise me though is that you're only just realised Activision screws over their customers. They've been doing it for years across different platforms and IPs.
Best thing you can do in this kind of situation? As much as you like the game, stop playing. Stop purchasing Call of Duty. Stop purchasing Activision published titles. Activision doesn't care about their games, they're a business, they just want your money.

The PC is screwed over as well which was what I was about to buy MW3 for but once I figured its problems I decided not to. Wii is capable of patches and almost enough RAM for Predator Missles. The game already comes with 16 maps (more than MoH, Crysis 2, Homefront and a lot of other games ha d even with DLCS) and nobody is forcing you to buy the DLCs. The only unacceptable thing is that elite PS3 players have to wait a month to get the content that XBOX elite players get. Now that and only that really is BS.

Again IMO only Activision just says put in some small changes and people will buy it. I just feel Elite is unfair and that model is. At least EA is up front about it.

And here's the rub... $15 every three months for DLC bundles for non-elite... that means non-elite accounts are able to pay less for all the DLC ($45<$50) than people who bought the Hardened edition
7,50 for two maps. Or 15 for four maps ... I just don't care. It is both way too expensive anyways. If it's just maps, I don't think I want to pay more than €1 per map.

@swordsmanx75 I play both MW3 and BF3 but for me the difference is in the content being delivered. MW3 DLC is nothing literally. It's going to be one map and one 5 minute long spec ops mission, apparently. Battlefield had B2K, which had maps, 10 weapons, and 3 vehicles. Vietnam for BC2 was new weapons, vehicles, maps, time setting. CoD does a terrible job of releasing DLC and no doubt half the MW3 maps will be rehashed MW2 maps. I'll stick to the base game for cod because their DLC isnt worth it

Now with the retards gone I will ask someone level headed. Why does Activision forget about the Wii? If you say its power then you don't quite understand, the Wii is capable of DLC and Elite. The PC is screwed over as well which was what I was about to buy MW3 for but once I figured its problems I decided not to. Wii is capable of patches and almost enough RAM for Predator Missles. Again IMO only Activision just says put in some small changes and people will buy it. Personally, I felt burned by them for being loyal for a long time on the CoD franchise and just not enough change for me. But you are right, they are both terrible. I just feel Elite is unfair and that model is. At least EA is up front about it.

@swordsmanx75 I play both MW3 and BF3 but for me the difference is in the content being delivered. MW3 DLC is nothing literally. It's going to be one map and one 5 minute long spec ops mission, apparently. Battlefield had B2K, which had maps, 10 weapons, and 3 vehicles. Vietnam for BC2 was new weapons, vehicles, maps, time setting. CoD does a terrible job of releasing DLC and no doubt half the MW3 maps will be rehashed MW2 maps. I'll stick to the base game for cod because their DLC isnt worth it
