i think if you tell them, you want to keep long hair ,they will know what to do ...well in malaysia they do,but not sure about japan..what they will do is that ,they will fix your fringe not cut in an angle like yours and match with the side, thin your top and back for spiking or easy to stand up, and fix the mullet, the combination of the mullet and the side looks good when long, dont keep the back as long as the mullet ,that is just not right,and looks bad...
