New article out by Daniel Favre - "Mobile phone-induced honeybee worker piping." Turns out that it IS cell phones causing sudden colony collapse in honeybees... You can pick up the PDF file of the report over at Scribd.
Nice that they're reopening the whole "cell phone / brain tumor" investigation again, too. Double whammy.
If the bees are becoming extinct then wouldn't there be a honey shortage. I really do not know. However, I did notice less bees these last couple of years. I live near 1000's of commercial and wild hives.I have noticed that they fly in a less organized pattern. However, I could be assuming this simply because I've been told there are less bees. I'm really on the fence on this subject. Wouldn't there would be less crops as well I assume. Has the yield substabtially lower?
If we dont pay attention to this, it could mean global starvation. Thanks for posting this important stoy, My bee hive swarmed for no reason , they have tons of locust ect.if it happens once, no biggie, if it happens 2x coincidence, if it happens 3x somethings wrong, a couple years ago they built huge cell tower 1/4 mile from here, bees wont stay , keep abandoning ever since the tower was built
We need to take this seriously everyone. There could be many reasons for the bees disappearing however we cannot stop asking questions until we have a definitive answer.
BULL SHIT. Honey bees are gone because of Japanese Hornets. Cell phones have been around for years and Bees never complained until now. I want HONEY.... I WANT SOME CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE... ASSUMPTIONS MAKE AN ASS OUT OF YOU AND UMPTION.
If what I mentioned below is true and this video is true then do you think we as a human race would stop using cell phones??? Probably not... We'll just all die. Gotta be able to text message ur friends.
I don't know how true this is, but I heard that there is one way to know that the world is coming to end (for humans at least) and that is when all the bees disappear. I believe it was actually Albert Einstein that said that. I would like to know the logic it.
GREAT VIDEO thank you so much! i had a huge bee hive move in to my upstairs bedroom in the walls, and one day while wondering what that humming noise was (see my video on humming) a piece of plaster fell from the wall and there lo and behold were a thousand and one bees making honey in my bedroom. i freaked out, and murdered them. I feel like I somehow put my finger on the red button in doing this. ever since, bees have declined. I will never forgive myself. HUM-bly
Good vid,but 99 percent of peope today could care less about nature,animals,plants...the environment in general. Especially if it causes them a little extra work..like using a pay phone or waiting to get home before making that call just to gossip about who is diddling who! I have come to the conclusion..HUMANS are really just a deadly parasite.
That is very interesting indeed. I have a couple old cell phones around the house and maybe I'll hang them up at the orners of the house. They'll be more attractive then the big bug zapper, lol. Jk. That woul dbe a shame to kill off the bees. Then, when referring to something cool, if I chose to use the phrase "Bees Knees" no one would no what Im talking about if they went extict and that would be horrible!
I was just sitting outside today, and during that time I had a bee fly by me a couple of times. I didn't even have to move and it was little off it seemed to me, crazed - One was in the house just sort of flying up and down, not even against a wall either. Ha. I'm curious now.

Cell phones aren't safe anyway, the only time I'd ever use one is during an emergency, like if I broke my leg in the middle of a snowstorm.

give me break. i raped a bee once and it had cell phone.

Put the reference up see we can review the evidence. Bees don't talk either! The planet will be ok - we might not be here though.

I never got a cellphone. Here's another reason besides
paying good money to have people disturb me for avoiding
getting one. Great Video!!!

@qkiller Yeah, because the uk's chockablock with Japanese hornets. People are scared to go outside because there's so many.

We are doing so many things that are never tested out. It is time to start simplifying!
