  • yes, i messed up. i made a note in the video . thx, eric .

  • You used the wrong formula to figure to the circumference of your hoops. that formula is 2*pi*radius or pi*diameter. The formula you used was for the area of a circle. However, when the radius is 2 both formulas give you the same result.

  • hahahah..we're not going to the moon here!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll make sure to use that line next time someone questions my math.

  • Good job! Are you gonna anchor it to your bed in case a big wind comes a rolling along?

  • Ha! I thought I was the only one with a tomato bandit lab in the garden...!! Nice video, thanks.

  • @mombo39 my better half thinks it cute that the Labs eat tomatoes, blueberries, sugar snap peas, raspberries right from the garden. i'd rather they not do that. but what can you do? thx, eric.

  • Great video Eric!

The comments from the peanut gallery (camera girl) were funny as well!

  • It's a cold frame ! We arent going to the moon or putting it in the architectural digest or anything hahahahha Ya, get HD to pay for your gas before you plug them I agree wholeheartedly ! You guys are too cool ! Great How-To ! Thx

  • @mukwah1111 many of my friends, when building something, want to make it bomb-proof, when you really don't have to. drives me crazy.

this cold frame has lasted several years. thx. eric.

  • Cool idea, like the way you tilt it up to pick the lettuce with out rolling the plastic back and forth. I've seen others with rolling the plastic up and down. With yours, you could use a brace to keep it up on nice days.

  • @MegaShaytardfan yeah, the trick is to make sure the bottom of the cold frame touches soil all the way around, that way no cold air ( or at least less cold air ) gets in. the drawback is that sometimes the cold frame gets stuck frozen to the soil.

  • You two are always having so much fun! :)

  • so where do you open the cold frame when you want to pick lettuce? you don't lift it do you?

  • @waoucam i just tilt up one end. thx, eri c
