I want to write don't wear makeup and such. They are pretty the way they are. But the truth is I LOVE makeup. Its less of a confidence thing than art. I love becoming someone new everyday. False lashes make be feel like a Broadway star. Red lipstick is like a black dress for me, basic. At the same time I love my natural self, its who I am, but people tend to think differently. I say let these girls do their thing, we have no right to judge.

I'm tired of people saying "girls shouldn't wear make up! you are degrading yourself!" Uh, no. I'm sorry I can't wake up and look Iike Beyonce or Angelina Jolie. I am not pretty. period. Does that mean I have to walk around that way and feel depressed about my ugliness? No. I can make myself feel attractive. I can walk around with pride and self-confidence. And if they want to make them self's look beautiful they paint and draw typical European features on their faces. Makeup should lift up your natural beauty and not transform you into a different race using drag queen tricks!

Yeah. I can agree with some of the comments on this vid. These girls honestly didn't even look ugly before, just average. Also, all the photos of these 2 girls were extremely unflattering and they had them go on the show with messy hair, and raggedy clothes! I really don't even think those girls really needed all that makeup anyway. All those girls really have to put on is maybe some foundation and eyeliner. All of those circle lenses, and fake eyelashes are so unnecessary!

@cinloykko this show is basically like the old show"the swan" except with makeup.Seeing who can look the most "appealing" with what their given and time. The host tell em what they can change and basically they just make fun of them when their not in makeup :/ like "WHO IS THIS" or "DOES ANYONE WANT THIS" and with makeup their like "WOAAH what a beauty your so much more prettier now"

The hosts were really mean...but I mean these girls did choose to go on the show. Must they also pick the worst photos ever? I mean, most people would look terrible if they posed like the way they did in the pictures.

yeah the hosts are pretty fucked up, but people should keep in mind that these girls are doing this for the prize money. hence, as much of a blow as it is to be compared to a man, it's not like they're getting nothing out of embarrassing themselves (not that i'm saying prize money is necessarily worth it). plus, it really is part of the mc's job to get the crowd/audience going. & the girls weren't exactly forced to do this, so yeah.
either way, asia's sense of humor is pretty messed up, lmfao.

I know tons of asian girls (me included) who are really happy with their monolids. Also, it's really not like all asian girls have monolids or small eyes. @DDyzee im asian and i dont mind the way i look. i dont try to make my eyes look big and i dont wear fake eyelashes and contact lenses. i dont even wear make up. the only time i wear makeup are at dance concerts when it is compulsury for makeup to be worn. i agree with a) the lady did freak me out a bit b) i guess some are a lot more self concious than others. i know you're just stating your opinion, but you shouldn't make such sweeping comments categorizing just asian girls

I honestly think they were pretty without makeup. This show just took the most unflattering pictures at the worst angles for them to make them seem worse. The hostess is in drag, so she/he shouldn't even judge these women. So hypocritical. As long as these girls' confidence is boosted by wearing makeup, why not? They should live happy with their appearance even if it means putting on makeup that takes an hour or so.
