  • There's always that religious extremest fanatic who screw things up when Somalia is about to make progress.

  • @TheTruehijab

Stop preaching online. Did the video asked on what everyone"s opinion was on the music they were playing?

Why do you need to play as the Haram Police?

You preaching to them isn't going to make them stop using it so instead of wasting your time on ppreaching pay atttention to what the video is acttually about!

  • @cbluver22 As it is known, the muslim spends all his time in the remembrance of Allaah and does everything that which pleases Allaah, listening to music (no matter what genre) would cause someone not be within the remembrance of Allaah. Also, forbidding the evil and enjoining the good is principle of the deen, by you telling those who advise you, to stop their efforts is like promoting haram and let fitnah and corruption be rampant. May Allaah guide us all

  • @cbluver22 if u call me the haram police just for my little advise imagine the prophet muhammad scw who gave advise to his companions and warnings to his enemies 24/7...what do u call him then? astaqfirullah, if u have some sense of understanding then repent to allah for what u called me "haram police" must be someone saying haram to what is lawful. Allah has said in quran; forbid what is unlawful for u and accept what is lawful for u, naseeha - obey allah if you truly are a muslim !,

  • @TheTruehijab @TheTruehijab Well you're not Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) So keep your advice to yourself.

  • @Adamkay17 who said i was?! what i meant was that an naseha/truly seeking the best when giving advice is the prophet muhammad scw sunnah, we muslims as sisters and brothers should advice eachother with the truth with good. as Allah ta3ala said in surat asr; By (the Token of) Time (through the ages), Verily Man is in loss,

Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds,

and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth,

and of Patience and Constancy. and

  • @Adamkay17 the prophet muhammad scw has also said On the authority of Tamim Al-Dari that the Prophet, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, said:

"Religion is nasihah." We ( the companions) said: "To whom?" The Prophet, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, said: "To Allah and His Book, and His messenger, and to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk."

The nasihah should be to Allah first. by forbidding the forbidden and avoiding the disliked acts and many others things,u should search knowledge &salam

  • @TheTruehijab I'm just saying, you might be doing more harm than good. Instead of attracting people to Islam you're just repelling them. This particular video isn't about deen, it's for the development of the Somali community, shouldn't you also leave the Judging and what not to God?

  • @Adamkay17 the prophet muhammad scw said that one of the character of a munafiq is that when you give them a naseeha they say " its between allah and me"

i believe this is enough, i mean seriously are u aware of what u are saying? as a muslim your life is about obeying him and his messengers, THIS video is made from somali muslims well the advice is for them not the video itself but for those who anticipated yet are muslims.read my previous comment surat asr! there is the answer salam!!!

  • anywho masha allah world wide somali students i am a big fan

  • hey guys i dont know why you attacking them , Some of them were born in here In UK or maybe came when they were 2 year old or a bit older so come on , you know how it is , and they spent all those years here and they are trying to do a good thing i think they deserve respect , and i dont see what you can do for people just speaking somali , i dont see what you are doing !!!! your just sitting there and judging them while their doing their best so give it a break .

  • @mariamcaliguul If someone is going to do an action and the akhirah isn't the goal or objective behind it, is there a purpose to it? (Not that I am saying that isnt there purpose). Also, everything must be done in accordance to what Allaah and His messenger has revealed otherwise the mission will be fruitless, we want good for them but it must be within the boundaries inshaAllaah

  • @AbuUbaidullaah Yes walal you are righ but i didn't saw them out of those boundaries , they know their Deen , and they are trying to help . i just see some amazing young people trying the best they can do for their country while others are not doing much , so i wish that they support them other than judging them , because like i said i dont see anyone else doing anything usefull .

  • waaxaan baraan baxaan walaayo

  • allah the allmighty said that if your unsure about a question concerning islam ask the culamada wa weyn!

for ex, ibn thaymiyah rahimahu allah, ibn baz rahimahuallah, uthaymin rahimahuallah iyo al banne rahimahullah<3

dont ask me as im no scholer of islam ( just a niqabi learning the deen on my journey)

salam walaliyal fi islam<3 may allah protect us all salam calaikum.

sorry i forrgot to say bismillah and salam in the begining..

  • stop with the music, with the mixing betwen men and women do not follow your desires!, follow allah, stop with the music as the prophet muhammad told us instruments are haram!

the girls do not beatify your voice as it is awrah allah told us in the quran that when you speak to men to not speak gentle ( girly voice). muxadiro dumar/ghabdo ma uu hayni kartoo nimanka/wilasha islam hadaa tihiin! islam is not about opinion its only about allahs words+ prophet muhammad scw sunnah<3 allah the allmighty-

  • @TheTruehijab Finally someone who understands, may Allaah reward you abundantly

  • @AbuUbaidullaah allahuma amin ! to all of us amin!

  • @TheTruehijab

What the Hell is wrong with you.

    Shut up!

  • @cbluver22 lol i cant "shut up" im not saying anything am writing and yes you are READING haha alhamdullilah im fine and nothing is wrong with me =), if you are muslim than im warning you dont use the word " hell " to another muslim.

the prophet scw said; a muslim is not a muslim when he harms another muslim with his tongue or his hands and you used your hands....turn to allah for forgivnes,...i forgive you =) salam calikum

  • even im have my defects...rabiqfirli war hamni subhann allah ini kuntu mina dalimin... but im warning you as a somali sister...no as a muslim sister! im warning you turn to him, fear him and obey him.

dont be like those who talk but dont act! its late im tired...have so muich to say in my heart but i have to wake up early for tomorow..

your intention made me happy but your way of doing it brings tears tomy eyes...muslims fear allah as i should to..may Allah guide us all to the right path.

  • they say; its only between allah and me. the prophet muhammad scw said that one of the character of a munafiq is that when you give them a naseeha they say " its between allah and me" subhan allah allah is the one who created you! oh muslims dont you love him?

muslims brother and muslims sister am have a feeling that you say that you love him and belive in him but yet you laugh girls with guys and vice versa...subhan allah yet allah forgives when you ask for forgivness he is al qhafoor al rahim.

  • now i think i forgot to mention that im not that good at english ether, just trying my best.

if you new then thats even worse. the girl that was sitting beside the guy at 01:20 what where you thinking? there are those who are attached to this dunya to the extend that you see them calling themselves muslim but later when you ask them; girl why dont you wear hijab? hey why are you smoking? or why do you feel ashamed of doing this and that for allahs sake, you should fear him that gave you life?

  • and following the tradition of our messenger muhammad scw.

mixing with men and women is haram - Allah told us to obey him and the messenger who told us to not mix women with men and men with women- do you say anything against this? are you muslims? ( i am only asking @worlwidesomstudents ) because if you are do you not fear allah or are muslims by name?

  • i can see that you want to do something right but in a wrong way. what i mean is that your intention is good but your way of doing it is wrong in another word haram. most of the women i saw where wearing viels=muslims lakise mahadacay ilahay oo ni aburay uga cabsani waydan? now im not that good at somali but i will try my best to give you naseha and i hope you understand me<3

    1. im not a khawarij=extremist nor am i a sofi ( praying to graves) but am a muslim abiding by the rules of allah and

I really am not trying to accuse anyone, or bash anyone, this is from the sincerity of my heart. How do you guys or anyone expect to succeed when you are disobeying Allah? Is music not prohibited? I really do care for my People and pray that Allah helps us all. Alhamdulilah

I believe insha'alaah this is the first step to bring our young intellectual together around the world and exhibit the other side of the story from Somalis to the world! maaash'alaa, i am profoundly happy to see such a thing :) Wish you all the best of luck insha'alaa

  • @israeli41 our beloved country doesn't suck, you must be mistaking it for some other country. We are hopefully and know that its just a matter of time before we rebuild our country:)...

  • @israeli41 why are jews cold hearted, it's not a surprise hitler was a jew.

  • This is great, i hope i am not gonna be negative. when you say we're going back to big cities, how come u didn't say Garoowe or Hargayso. just wonder. don't get me wrong i support this movement, i love it

  • @outlawmn1 am sure they are going there...

  • @outlawmn1 join the movement and maybe we can discuss the possibility of having Garoowe and Hargayso as one of the sites we visit. The intent of Wss is to rebuild all of Somalia, not one particular region...

  • Great video guys! I commend you for bringing to our attention such a great cause. I hope peace and prosperity for Somalia soon inshallh.

  • First and foremost, the idea here is to help Somalia and Somalis, and to start with that one have to speak Somali to relate to Somalis in Somalia. You can't be trusted as a future leaders if you ignore the language of the mass. Important point there.

  • awesome

  • I am computer engineer at Mt Kenya University. i have been in kenya for the past 20 years, as per the life i faced, i have managed to learn 4 different language excluded my mother tongue.

I never lost hope that one day we will be a nation full of talented young somali people and we will overcome this challenge.

I always have my people back at my heart. i have the know how, but i don't know how to start it.

I strongly believe this network may give out some hints on how to go about it inshallah

  • Am A computer Science Student at University of Nairobi,Kenya.I Hv been refugee for the last 20 years..But Am still having the hope that somalia can and will be back stronger...

Am ready to participate and to sacrifice all i have to my people..Luv U All..

  • mashallah ,great jobs brothers and sisters

  • wow masha Allah i would love to join the revolution too, i will sign up insha Allah. Thanks for bringing hope for Somalia. Peace.

  • Hey, Somali Students, As a business student I am always thinking about new ways of helping our country, is it possible to put together a major international tour of all or at least the most famous Somali musicians, to raise money for Somalia and to help these people who are hit by the drought in Somalia? I am sure we can come up with Millions of dollars, if they are willing to do it for a good cause and still get their cut of it. thanks

  • @503ballin where u from? I'm a business student as well (somalia of course).

  • @TheRealMBO18 I am from Somalia, living in Oregon in the U.S, I believe we can do something if some of the Somali students association put their heads together and try to make this happen, I am sure the Somali student association here at my school can take their of our state and host such an event so do the rest. aAnd where do you stay?

  • @503ballin I'm from Canada, and I go to Brock University. I agree, I just want it to go bak to the way it was. I even had some white teachers tell me they lived in Somalia and worked there until the war, and they spoke some somali.

  • Masha Allah...am proud of all these students trying hard to bring back Somalia, with all the Somalis around the World if we all tried hard like this I'm sure we can all bring back Somalia to life, and once we do, no doubt Somali will be one the most developed countries in Africa because all the educated students we will gain from around the World who are willing to contribute…..Keep up the good work.

  • i'm a biochemistry graduate student in Hawaii.. how should i get involve in this.. thanks in advance...

  • @MrGuugaalre.... PS. Correction: you couln't be more wrong. They didn't destroy our nation, they are the future and hope that left for Somalia. Dhalinyartan dadaalaysa haddaadan wax wanaag ah ku darsanayn ama ku dhiiri galinayn, adoo isaga aamusa la qaatay.

  • @MrGuugaalre....Why not? Every invention that exists on earth started as a dream. Please don't undermine human power, especially your own. Stay positive and know that dreams come true....only if you believe in it.

It a big project but its doable with a little effort from everyone.

  • Masha Allah. Keep that positive energy and never let anyone tell you otherwise. Insha Allah, not only 1,000 somali students/professionals but 10,000 of them will join "Operation Restore Hope 2012". Be ready for such a high number. I feel it, it will spread like a viral so be ready.

    Best wishes!

  • somaliyey toosa kaca, somaaliyey tooso.

  • Somaaliya Hanoolaato

  • yeah great job! im somali and id love to help!

  • What happens to Somali students when they graduate?

How come we keep hearing Somali student associations and not Somali professional groups?

My advise to the students is to focus your studies, graduate on schedule, start your career, pay off your student loans, and then return to Somalia and help others

  • Salaam walaalayaal, im so proud of you all for bringing this initiative to the forefront!! InshAllah with the help of Allah and great teamwork we can do anything, and impossible is nothing! there are thousands of us who go to uni and graduate with expertise and it would be a shame if we didnt put it to great use, and nothing is greater than helping our people our country, and this can make us better Muslims:)
