In ancient Rome many cities had catacombs that stretched for miles. Only now are some being found in Rome.
New York has miles of tunnels. In 1989 during the uprising in Romania a whole series of such tunnels were discovered to have been built in Bucharest by Ceceascau.
Montreal and Toronto have a whole series of similar tunnels that stretch for miles that have been converted into some of the largest indoor miles in the world.
watching this almost makes me want to cry that such a great people could be led by the nose into complete destruction and desecration by one stupid moron. I hope the US keeps an eye on who they put in office!
You forget something: The Führer was just the spokesman of his people. He led his people because they acclaimed him as their Savior. The Führer enjoyed higher popular support even during the war than your president and the rest of the victor countries then and now.
@IntJewryWonWW2 , he had the oilfields in lower Russia that he needed secured and he still attacked unprepared for winter war. If he would have listened to his generals Germany would have been a great force in Europe for who knows how long. I think that Hitler could have been the most fearsome leader the world ever knew but he came to the belief that his army was indestructible and there is no nation in the world that can survive that, no matter how good the army and people are.
Thank you for postings this, great doc.

Hail comrade @338lapsniper,
Only the coldest winter in 140 years prevented the Soviet empire from coming apart. God or Allah wanted it that way. Why? I don´t know.
Sieg Heil!
