  • I remember being at a bible study at a church I was attending in Wisconsin. One guy brought up the all too common statistic that 4 out of 5 people were going to hell. Something like that anyway. I remember saying, "man, that's sad". His response. . . "I don't care, as long as I'm on my way to heaven". I was still very new in the faith but remember thinking. . . . . . How selfish.

  • @grandplans I'm working on a video right now that kind of addresses that. Hope to finish it today. Oh, watch "Lavish Love," just uploaded yesterday on the tentmaker777 channel.

  • AWESOME LOVE OF OUR GOD

  • Gary! What a beautiful video sir. Thank you so much taking the time to film, edit and post this!

I am sharing it with others right away.

  • @avoiceuphere Thank you, Avoiceuphere (Jeremy?) Watched some of your family videos. What a nice loving family. Looks like you all enjoy each other and life. Peace, Gary

  • @Kingfisher64 So you are saying that anyone who has the "love of God" in them would not want anyone to go to hell, but you believe either that this same God of love wants them to, if He is truly omnipotent, or that He does not want it but is powerless to stop it.

    Big problem there.

The bottom line is that God truly does want all saved and is truly omnipotent so that He gets all that He desires. What a beautiful God we do truly serve. That is the God of the Bible. Check the Greek.

  • @waitinontheLamb - It's God's wish that none should perish and if a Christian has that same spirit - The Holy Spirit in them then I would expect the same values to be built into that person. I'm saying that Christians who let the Holy Spirit do his work cannot go around "wanting" other non believers to perish. I see the differences between Christians who have embraced the love of God, they are non-judgemental, loving, full of empathy, but not all do this - there's the difference

  • The deep down belief of my church is this,if one refuses the free gift of salvation, then it's their tough luck.Thing is, NO ONE can believe ANYTHING about Jesus Christ &the Gospel UNTIL God our Father GIVES US the "FAITH" to believe.Without God GIVEN faith,we can't receive the Gospel. And to infer that we can believe without God giving us the faith to believe is WORKS! God is no-respector of persons, so ALL MANKIND will be GIVEN the FAITH to believe, some in this age,the rest in the ages to come.

  • @tentmaker777 - I don't believe Chrisitans want the wicked to go to an eternal punishment. I'd strongly disagree that any true Christian with the love of God in their heart could ever want such a thing.

  • @kingfisher64 Want proof? Tell them the original languages of the Bible teaches universal salvation, that the early believers in Christ taught this, that the teaching of Hell is of pagan origin and THEN see what the average Christian does. Do they go and see if this is true? Or do they parrot their "traditions of men which make the word of God of no effect?"

  • @tentmaker777 - Could you point me to some historical documentation to support the view that early believers taught universal salvation? I'd love to believe that. I used to be close to the Lord for 20+ years - I have been ill with OCD for 6-8 years mainly of not being forgiven (blasphemy of hs) I cannot have a close relationship with God anymore as thoughts of God sending people to hell gets me thinking he's evil and cruel and not somebody I want to know. My heart needs proof.

  • @kingfisher64 Read "The early Christian view of the savior" at the tentmaker site. Just google that article with the name tentmaker and it should come up. Understand there is no "unforgiveable sin." Jesus paid for all sin. You must EXPERIENCE this forgiveness to be free. Just believing the early church taught universal salvation isn't going to free you. You need reality, not just information. Watch some more of the videos on this channel. Ask people to pray that you experience forgiveness.

  • AMEN !!!
