but i want you guys to know that regine is soprano and charice is mezzo soprano. That high note is hard to sing for mezzo soprano voices. That's why charice rocks :)

@rogerpt101 i like regine but charice rocks, specially when she was so young at the time of this recording while Regine was a seasoned performer. I'm from South America and virtually nobody knows Regine in my neck of the woods whist Charice is becoming more and more known with each passing day.

@sadisfuction What happens is that most of the comments come from local philipinos and very possibly Regine has been a star for a long period of time. As I´m not Philipino, I came across Cherice through Glee, then looked her up in youtube and then I discovered excelent singers in Philipines (such as Regine). So internationally I think Charice has a penetration well beyond what Regines has achieved and in just a few years. With time she´ll be the biggest star Asia has given the world.

These comparison videos serve no purpose except to alienate fans. I think both Regine and Charice are exceptional singers. Singers should not be compared, but each appreciated for their individual contribution to our lives.
And don't forget the difference in age and experience!!
