I have been around the world training. Chi was something I once perused relentlessly for 20 years. After a lot of Eastern "Masters" that claim to do what you do and even have their students react the same way I found one thing was true. Chi either isnt real, or its brainwashing. No one could ever move me or even make me feel different.

These "Chi / Ki" balls, no touch knockouts, etc etc are all a lie.

As far as I have been able to figure out on my own, it seems like less of a throwing of the chi, but more like stretching it around (or even blending it with) the chi of the object or person you wish to affect. I'm not by any definition a master or even a student of this art, but I have always felt the presence of "chi" since I can remember. Thank you for the video :)

For some reason I want to believe this but I just don't. It would be entertaining if true and if one believes in the power of the mind and accupuncture/tai chi etc. then why not this? But still I have never seen one of my aikido instructors do this sort of thing. In fact there is another video of a guy like this who claims thes abilities and he is getting punched in the face by a professional fighter, the "ki" power did not work on him. Maybe there is something to ki but maybe not so drastic.

I've been to some seminars with Saotome Sensei, one of the few surviving students of the founder of Aikido. Although his partners often fall down without him having to make contact, they do so because they're smart enough to know when the ground's the safest place to be, and experienced enough to know he'll hit 'em if they don't get there quick. Some Aikidoka are good enough to make their skill look like magic. From my perspective, this is the opposite- trying to make magic look like skill.
