  • I'm 15 and I just got one today but my dads a doctor so he did it for me... It hurts pretty bad but he said it's way worth it.. ($150)

  • How mush does that hurt?? And how old should people be getting this done?

  • 1:00 wtf she looks worse after O.O

  • i have scars from ingrown hairs on my cheeks...their not to deep was wondering how effective microdermabrasion would be on those scars?

  • what's up with the scary music???

  • i have skin on my face where i can't get tan or color no matter how long i stay in the sun ,on my nose and forehead i get color and burn easily but my cheeks stay white i don't know what to do.

  • How often do you have to do it to see the results??

  • @cutiepiekndbzcy5 3-4 months.. 4-5 treatments every two weeks.

  • When i had this done First they stemed my face with really hot water vapor 2 open my pores then they started sucking it with that thingy in the video and finally put some kind of chemical that itched really bad :/ this was done for acne treatment.

  • does this work for dark skin person?

  • I'd suggest you see a dermatologist who can prescribe the best skin fading medication available in the UK.

  • Hydroquinon is illegal in the uk and wen i ask at many chemist they luk at me funny as thy dont have any fade creams at all.. Pls help? Thanx

  • @xsamydx try to find creams with high concentrations of vitamin c or natural fruits like lemon and papya fade dark marks.

  • Hi iv been wanting to do this treatment for a long time and might treat myself. I use to have hyperpigmentation jus below the eye area on the cheeks loss of pigmentation n it has been better (still slightly visible) but i have discolouration around the nose and mouth area and some dark spots like brown beauty spots.. I nid a fade cream that actually works any suggestiond?? Pls help i live in the uk

  • @xsamydx I would stay away from the scar fading creams, they tend to do more harm than good in most cases. Lemon juice is actually an amazing way to fade scars, (it isn't a quick fix though remember) scars take a VERY long time to fade. Before making any hasty decisions I would recommend seeing a dermatologist (make sure its a good one, alot of them are very greedy) they will know what's the best treatment for your type of skin and your hyperpigmentation.

  • Patients with active acne may also benefit from microdermabrasion treatments, which exfoliate the skin and clear clogged pores of oil and dirt. If the active acne's bad enough we might also put our patients on medical treatment ( such as topical retinoids, topical antibiotics or oral antibiotics) whilst they undergo a course of microdermabrasions. the two approaches work well together.

  • my GP advised not to use microdermabrasion WHILE acne is present. He said it was useful for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation/acne marks...which means you have to wait until after you finish breaking out...

    is this true?

  • I have had 2 treatments already, and my skin improved so much. I normaly don't believe this stuff because I have tried so many things to get rid of my scars on my face. Well, if you are getting desperate, you will try everything. This is my best spend money ever. In my country, the Netherlands, one treatment is about 90 euro's. It's not that cheap, but it works. The only thing that is not that great, is that my skin is very sensitive and dry after the treatments for a couple of days. I am happy!

  • how much is it

  • @courtneyloveslushies

    $155(Australian) or a package of 5 for $550.

  • Microdermabrasion is best for acne rather than acne scarring. It would probably be too gentle to remove medium acne scars.

  • @HeberDavisClinic The narrator in the video says microdermabrasion "reduces acne scarring," but you don't think it's best for acne scarring? What treatment would you suggest for someone like me who has hyperpigmentation due to old acne scars?

  • @DarkReapersGrim

Microdermabrasion would treat hyperpigmentation, but I'd recommend that you also be using a prescription preparation containing hydroquinone and retinoic acid on a daily basis to speed things up.

  • @HeberDavisClinic Alright. Thanks for the advice.

  • hi, would you recommend microdermabrasion for medium acne scars on my cheeks and some small scars on my forehead?what is the Turbo Flow System, is this the system you are using?

    THANK YOU

  • Around my mouth area it is a lot darker than the rest of my face...do you know why? and will this treatment help? Thanks! I am medium beige skin tone..

  • @pitalovesmusic

Hard to tell without seeing you. I would suggest you consult with a local cosmetic physician.

  • I have pitted scars. alot of them! I was wondering if Microdermabrasion would get rid of them and end my embarrassment?

  • @KellySeelall

PItted scars will probably respond better to treatments such as TCA Cross or skin rolling.

  • I have dark spots on my cheeks from past acne. Would microdermabrasion remove this? My skin is perfect (no acne or scaring), it's only that the spots are like shadows. And about how much does this treatment cost?

  • @OceanPeace3

Sounds like microdermabrasion would help, but you might also need a prescription fading cream. It'd probably be best to see a cosmetic physician for a proper diagnosis before you do anything. Good luck.

  • @HeberDavisClinic i have something similar... spots left from ance/pimples... they are really darker than my skin (i have darker skin- coppery brown) and it's embarrasing (otherwise even skin)... im currently using a cream that is making them fade away but not fast enough! the cream has 0.05% clobersol or something... and I have used it for 2 weeks (it's 50% better). I was wondering if getting micro-dermabration at a spa would help?

    Thanks

  • @hotmalisis

Yes, microdermabarsion would help, but be patient. You're doing well if you've seen 50% fade in two weeks.

  • Your skin will look buffed and polished but there should be no downtime, especially if you explain your situation to your therapist.

  • after Microdermabrasion my skinn turns red or not?..cause i work seven days a week in a restaurant.thanks

  • lol can't believe this has HD i mean c'mon who would like to see someone with

scars all over his/her face in HD?

  • i'm 21 years old. after spending a lot of time in the sun i noticed my pores getting bigger around my cheeks. they are not exaggeratedly big, but i do wish they would go back to the size they were before. would this help me out? how many sessions would be necessary.

  • @GuildmistressDeby

Firstly, you should start wearing at least a factor 30 broad spectrum sunscreen on a daily basis. Microdermabrasion combined with cosmeceutical skin care products should work well to refine your pores. I'd recommend a course of 4-5 treatments, spaced 2-4 weeks apart.

  • "I am doing this treatment for the first time at my school." Yay soon:D"

  • so if i have about 4-5 acne scars that i would like to remove this treatment would be helpful?

  • @missouthernbell9

Hard to tell without seeing your skin. There are different treatments for each of the various types of acne scars.

  • this music is creepy....

  • @x0ticShwty I have to agree its like your entering a haunted house lol

  • I have discoloration on my back. would this help even my skin tone on my back?

  • @SdannadS

Hard to tell without seeing the problem. There are many types of discolouration and each requires a specific treatment.

  • NuBrilliance helped my wife!

You people must give it a chance too!

    nubrilliance (d00t) info

  • how soon can you start wearing makeup with this treatment? or will the makeup interfere with the treatment. additionally, what is the costs thanks a lot

  • @iluvnyc07 i believe its about $250 per session..

it really depends where you do it though

  • I have a question if you may help. I have many blackheads on my nose, as well as darker acne scars from popped pimples, and a few large pores. Would microdermabrasion get rid of those? My main concern is my nose, I'm 22 and haven't had a clear nose since I was in 8th grade and I'm already graduating from college haha. Really, I just want to have a clear face for once in my life. thanks in advance.

  • @tsukoyomi2021

Microdermabrasion certainly helps to unclog pores and reduce blackheads but they often need to be removed manually by a professional. Blackheads are plugs of oil so microdermabrasion alone may not remove them. Using skin care products containing vitamin A might also help control them.

  • @HeberDavisClinic

    Thank you :D

  • @tsukoyomi2021 yes it will help to reduce the scars..especially several treatments of it..it can make the scars go away completely. as for the blackheads..an exfoliating face wash would really help with that too =)

  • @ciscokidd08

    Thank you for the response

  • @tsukoyomi2021 hello i see your message and i had the same problem as you ,and i want to say that the only ONLY solution for blackheads in the world is the medication of isotretinoin (roacutan acutane dercutae.......) for 6 moths ,you have to go to a doctor and and tell him to prescribe this medication,is a a hard medication but is the only solution for eliminate the oil gland.i hope this will help you.

  • Can it whiten your skin?

  • @rainielove03

Not really. It can lighten abnormal pigmentation but won't change the normal colour of your skin.

  • Does this treatment remove or lessen scars?

  • @ferrari4sale

If scarring is the main problem, I wouldn't recommend microdermabrasion. There are a variety of other treatments that are better suited to treating scars.

  • @HeberDavisClinic Can you give me an example?

  • @ferrari4sale

Depends what sort of scar we're dealing with. Different sorts of acne scars for example might respond best to laser resurfacing, or to fractional laser treatment, TCA cross, or fillers. What sort of scar are you concerned about?

  • @HeberDavisClinic Laser don't work.

  • @HeberDavisClinic What kind of treatment would you recommend for mild acne scarring?

  • if you get laser hair removal is it alright to get this done too?

  • @eyebrowsQ8

Yes, but maybe leave a couple of weeks between the two treatments to let your skin recover.

  • @juicyglitter28

It's a diamond brush and suction that buffs and polishes away the upper layers of the skin.

  • how much it's cost every treatment

  • @aneromyllet35254ever

    $155 (AU) or a course of 5 for $550

  • creepy music :-/

  • after several treatments, how long do the results hyperpigmentation last??

  • @lkooz

If you continue to look after your skin with the right products and keep out of the sun, the results should be long lasting.

  • Does microdermabrasion remove blackheads?

  • @notetoselfimissyouxx

Microdermabrasion certainly helps to unclog pores and reduce blackheads but they often need to be removed manually by a professional. Blackheads are plugs of oil so microdermabrasion alone will not remove them.

  • does it get rid of your facial hair though??? and does this get rid of acne for good or does it lessen outbreaks?

  • @TheTOBster21

No, this is not a treatment for removing facial hair. For that you need laser hair removal.

It doesn't "cure" acne but helps to keep it under control.

  • Does this help hyperpigmentation?

  • @roxycheergurl

Yes it certainly helps to lift pigment in the upper layers of the skin giving a more even colour. Some hyperpigmentation will not budge however depending on depth of the pigment.

  • @roxycheergurl

Yes, it's a good way to treat hyperpigmentation, along with using the correct skin care products at home and keeping out of the sun.

  • This doesn't work on scars!!

  • I hate my freckles in the summertime. Especially on my arms and legs. It's just unsightly when they're in excess like mine are. Do they have microdermabrasion for arms, shoulders, and legs?

  • Hi @Unexampled1

You can do microdermabrasion anywhere on the body, but I'd usually consider IPL a better option for freckles on the limbs and shoulders. You'll see examples of this on our website or watch Heber Davis Skin Clinic IPL Rejuvenation video. Just one treatment makes a very big difference.

  • before and after - yeah but we want to know how many treatments..

  • @Adipredweb

Usually 5-10 treatments are needed at regular intervals. We find most people are happy with their results after 5 treatments but some need more

  • How many treatments did the people in the video get?

  • HI @eXcite8D

They had differing numbers of treatments, but mostly between 5 -10 spaced a couple of weeks to a month apart.

  • Haha pleasent feeling my ass.

  • Actually it does hurt a little. I wouldn't call it a pleasant experience. But its bearable.

  • dose this hurt?how much it cost?

  • @TheTisha76

It doesn't hurt at all. Quite pleasant in fact. A course of 5 treatments is $550, or $155 for a single treatment.

  • it works different for everyone....its the only thing I havent tried yet...ima give it a go

  • wont do shit for acne scars

  • THE BEFORE AN AFTERS SUCK

  • how much should someone expect to pay for a course of 5 treatments?

  • A course of 5 in Australia is about $550.

  • Depends on where u live and where u want it but if your from uk then 5 treatments on your face will cost £220

  • The people on the video that had the microdermabrasion for there acne, was the result images from after a various amount of treatments or just one?

  • Most patients need a course of treatments, usually about 5 spaced at 2-3 weekly intervals, and to be using cosmeceutical skin care at home in between, to get the best results.
