i hope you aren't talking about the horrorpops cos they ARE fucking wannabes

the horrors aren't indie or goth they're surf rock or garage rock, if you listen to enough 60s rock 'n' roll you'll hear their roots, especially in "the sonics" or "the cramps" there definitely is the 80s goth comparison but that is due to sharing influences as opposed to just ripping off bands like the birthday party or scratch acid. BOTH worth checking out!!

It took me a long time to actually get in to the horrors.

Someone made me listen to a song and I realy didn't like it, but then after a while it really caught on and got stuck in my mind.

It's a shame some people act like retards and make knobbish comments about them, though. I guess every band gets that, but it seems to be that The Horrors get more violence directed towards them because of their appearance.

I'm sure they think you look like a freak, too.
