In the Episcopal Church I used to go to, the church was better attended on Christmas and Resurrection Day... but some of those people attending ONLY attend on those days.

i have found that jesus was born around sept 16 -29th in 4 b.c.does that sound right?

@C4D3S16NS It's possible.... Had to be warm or at least decent outside for the 'shepherds to be outside tending their flocks at night' (as the bible states). The climate in that region around Decembers end would have been mostly rainy and very frigid. Therefore we can deduce at least that Jesus wasn't born on Dec 25th. The date should not really be important anyway. The FACT that Jesus DID come here and make the ultimate sacrifice for us is.

i hear ya,, the past 3 christ mass's all the churches were closed all day.. i thought they were to be open so people could worship jesus on this day....
