Is it just me, or does Rampage seem like he's a really moody guy? I know he's got other things on his mind pre-fight, but so do the other guys. Some interviews with him it's like pulling teeth, and other times, he's cracking jokes and chatting your ear off.

of course Rampage is only fighting Machida for a paycheck. Even the best or old Rampage we've seen is mismatched with Machida. Rampage is the man, but his style is the worst possible for Machida. Rampage is in his heavy training mode, probably tired an focusing on the fight coz he wants his head cleared of unnecessary thoughts when entering the cage. Lame ass interview doesnt mean that now he is a lame ass fighter. Those who train mma can probably understand his state of mind to some degree but others dont have a strong opininion and their opininion is based on wathcing videos and interviews on youtube. Those people have a very narrow view on mma and are unable to "see between the lines"
