  • where are they?

  • Thanks for uploading!

  • damn that looks like a hard approAch

  • why does it say retard?

  • @jefejefejefe to retard the thrust lever

  • @jefejefejefe Its means flare to 5 degrees, and cut ur throttles to idle...

  • I think the aircraft don't like it's captain - retard, retard. :D

  • Nice video. What airport is this ?

  • hey how do you activate the altitude check list before landing.. "1000, 500 " i want to try it on the fsx but i don't know how to do so.. :)

  • @rubin949 It's called the Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS). I don't think FSX has it built in, but you can probably download a gauge that does those callouts.

  • it is weird how everything flashes! the insterments

  • @dellheadryan well in real life, they dont do that. theres a reason why in the video i just forgot. I think it has something to do with the type of camera that there using to film. IDK

  • @Boy4321100 oh ok ty.

  • very nice.

  • wow....... The graphics are so real..........

  • @MrSandiBottom its because is real LOL!!

  • @Rodrigo2838 LOL YOU'RE REALLY CLEVER!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL FUCKING LOL!!!!!!!!!!

  • aviation lovers, if you're interested I just uploaded a summary of a flight with air arabia, cockpit view. Very nice if you ask me, check out it out if you're interested.

  • всё как должно быть!, зачем спорите?

  • tame

  • what airline?

  • Man! One retard alarm as much! 3 times so, I wonder how was your heartbeat this very moment. Anyways a good land. Keep it up buddy!

  • I hate that in germany you cant become a pilot easily

  • @predatortheme why is that??

  • @predatortheme why?

  • @richygambs321 Millions of tests. and years of education ... its like You must be Insane! to become a pilot

  • @predatortheme are you from germany? really millions of tests? must you have a university degreee?

  • @richygambs321 yep more then 13 years of school. and then study.

  • how do you put airbus in reverse, like in a Boeing for example 737 they have reverse levers on the throttles in airbus a320 a330 a340 etc do they just continue to slide the throttles back pass idle

  • @mikalization

    watch?v=e1X_-2_ulNs

    0:35 onwards.

  • @blablubb12345 thanks dawg

  • @mikalization Yes

  • @mikalization why are you asking that question in any a320 landing video on yt??

  • @SuperApple1995 maybe because nobody wants to reply to me. but they answering now. i just loves planes and i really wanted to now. but dont worry i stopped. :)

  • @mikalization ok, fine ;)

  • @mikalization yes.

  • how do they put airbus in reverse like how in a boeing 737 they have a reverse lever, in this plane do they just continue to slide the throttles back pass idle?

  • Recharge. *

  • The approach was to high, I suggest that they train more at the approach.

  • @SWE370

dude, have you ever heard of wind?

the landing was done very well, maybe a little high but there was some upgoing wind i noticed.

Why would you need a training just because of one little high approach while the landing was ok

  • @SWE370

dude, have you ever heard of wind?

the landing was done very well, maybe a little high but there was some upgoing wind i noticed.

Why would you need a training just because of one little high approach while the landing was ok

go fuck yourself in fs9, but don't comment on this like it is a game

  • @Benjamen85 an popkamama: They're landing in Quito, 9.500 ft from what I remember. You take the power off at retard call and you will slam the a/c onto the Rwy; at 9,500 ft, air is very thin, and the landing characteristics are quite different, you need to fly the sucker down to touchdown, can't flare like you would normally do...

  • Veniamos alto.

  • Какая то хуйня ваш 320! Вы посмотрите как ТУ-154 летает, как там слаженно работает команда. А тут, сидят, джойстик дергают, машина сама летит. Где тут романтика? Зачем тут вообще пилот нужен?

  • @pgrishunov хуйня это ты, любитель хлама made in USSR.

  • @KonstantinSalikov You Fucking commie

  • @tiburcioman you fucking faggit cunt

  • what airline?

  • @TheGreatFlyer the Retard callout is not a reminder to flare the aircraft you usually begin to flare at 80-100 feet above the ground. It´s only a reminder to set the thrustlevers to idle

  • @Benjemen85 Start the flare at 20 on the airbus!

  • soft touchdown, loved it!

  • Guay!

  • Its autothrust!not autothrotle!

  • none of you know what the RETARD call out is for...autothrottle is engaged for landing and so the thrust is at idle, but on airbus planes the thrust levers don't move when autothrottle is engaged so the callout is to tell the captain to return the thrust levers to idle to disengage the autothrottle ready for landing

  • landing en quito -ECUADOR//???

  • Is the pilot doing this or is it still on auto-pilot at this point?

  • @spurs19831983 go to 2:40

I believe that's airbus' sound for autopilot being disarmed. So from there on it's hand flown.

  • @cjracer1000 yep...it s the autopilot disarmed sound

  • retard esto significa que pongas la palanca de potencia en la posicion idle

  • Wow, looked like a somewhat steep approach. First rate job. I noticed that the automated voice giving the radar altimeter call-outs is newer than some of the older Airbuses. The older ones say, "retard, retard, retard....drive." The older ones also sound more machine like.

  • Wonderful plane, beautiful landing, beautiful video!

  • I love the Airbus machines! 100;50;40;30;20 Retared, retared, retared ( Gas away) Gas weg..

  • what airline?

  • quito?

  • Nice app (and view). Thanks!!!!!

  • i am going to be there in 7 days in tht plane

  • all , fuck yours mothers !

  • You're all wrong, it doesn't say retard meaning slow down, it says retard as in retard the engines and put them in idle. Great video!

  • I am wondering what the fly-by-wire guys think about this mode of control versus the traditional hydraulically controlled yoke inputs. I think that I would prefer the yoke in that I can get a "feel" of what my jet is doing. What say skippers?

  • @rmachayes All pilots are going to have to learn to love fly by wire because there will never be another traditional airliner ever produced. Boeing is now exclusively fly-by-wire for their new aircraft and Airbus has been fly by wire since the A320.

Most pilots who switch to fly-by-wire are apprehensive at first and then say that they would never switch back once they get used to it.

  • ritard - italian for slow down

  • Thanks for this video !!!!!!! is really NICE.

  • 3:22 id kick that planes ass if called me a retard XD

  • @thebigrigtrucker It's not calling you a retard. Retard means to slow. Slow down the engines, idle. Looks like the only retard here is.. you! Don't kick my ass, please.

  • @scaremenga WOW ARE YOU THAT STUPID IT WAS A JOKE MORON!!!l!

  • nice video ... did they used fly by wire landing?

  • I thinks its cool the way the computer rates the pilots performance just before landing

  • @Yurin1 retard means to slow down

  • @Yurin1 retard

  • @Yurin1 It is NOT so very cool when the computer rates your copilot as "Excellent" and the captains as "Retard". It will become a source of mob for one another.

  • @Yurin1 LOL :)

  • NICE vid!

  • I gues he says Hit On ! Hit On ! Since he says it like... 1 second before the landing gear touches the runway

  • @djkarcel

    it's "retard", u moron.

  • @thedayitriedtodie o.O Why should I believe u or consider anything u say ?

    Just think about that...

    bb

  • @djkarcel

    go inform yourself, then, homo-ignoris...

  • so nice!

  • an Popkamama: was heißt den Retard auf deutsch?

  • @JoZimful ...Gas weg :)

  • Yea, buts it's not Tupelov 154

  • Yea, but it's no Tupelov 154,

  • Why most of the vids zoom the runway??? We wanna see the art of landing, not the runway! Anyway, beautiful vid!

  • @Zadonitz i so serious..

  • Wow! Beautiful vid. Thanks so much for sharing.

  • why do they always put that camera! we want to see the freaking gauges too!

  • reverse thrust, retard

  • Comment removed

  • means that you should move the Thrust Levers to Idle Position...

  • it means if the runway is not in sight by now its time to go around

  • noo, thats approaching minimums, or is that callout only in beings's?:)

  • @popkamama It's a warning to remember to retard the throttles during the flare.

  • @popkamama

it means that you have to put the thurst levers in indle and then reverse thurust to slow down the airplane

  • @popkamama

yes, u retarded monkey. it's for him to reverse the engines... retatrded low IQ youtube commenter.

  • @popkamama The sound of an Airbus A320 during the round out and flare before landing and just after the autopilot is disengaged

  • Retard = opposite of accelerate, meaning slow down

  • @popkamama Retared means gas away!

  • @popkamama it means pull back the throttle levers

  • @popkamama does sond like that but don't think it will of said that! LMFAO! lol!

  • @guitarplayerforu it does say retard retard .. Its a standard GPWS callout at 20 feet annunciated by all airbuses which is a command to bring the thrust levers to idle.

  • @yahul25 oh right i didn't know that, and you'd think i'd know stuff ike that cos i've been a avaintion enthusiast since age 7 and am now 19. also in Microsoft flight simulator x why does fly by wire not work?

  • @yahul25 what do u think of the Boeing 787 dreamliner? aint it amazing! bet you cant wait to say v1 rotate in a dreamliner eventually! do u like Boeing's as well as Airbus's?

  • @popkamama you are retard

  • @popkamama its Recon, you dumb ass

  • @jjownsall It's not. It's retard.

  • @popkamama Yes. xD

  • @popkamama

means cut power for touch down.

  • @popkamama that's mean put the gaz on the idle

  • @popkamama means that u have to reduce the speed to iddle !

  • @popkamama Retard means (aside from a generic term for mental handicap) to slow, or in this case, to slow the aircraft ie "retard" the throttle. Its airbus's funny way of telling the pilot to manually bring his throttles to idle. It is also used as an alert to pilots that the aircraft is automatically bringing the throttles to idle.

  • @popkamama A.K.A Flare.

  • @popkamama Means pull the throttle back to idle and make sure you pull back your sidestick to flare the aircraft for a smooth touchdown.

  • @popkamama That means out your throttle to idle :)

  • @popkamama sounds terrible lol

  • @popkamama trottles Idle

  • @popkamama The 2 first callouts it's a verb, the following callouts are nouns! :-D

  • @popkamama Meaning to retard or pull back the throttles for landing.

  • retard retard retard???

  • it meens to decrease the throttle for landing ;)

  • composite bolts snap, metal one's don't. At worst they bend and break after a very long time. What is the rationale for using composites? TO MAKE PLANES LIGHTER AND CHEAPER TO RUN. It's about money, not safety.

  • Planes should have cables and pulleys and that's that.

  • I don't like the idea of no direct mechanical connection between the pilot and control surfaces

  • I love it :D so beat it! Airbus Owns your ass and owns Boeing's ass!

  • Comment removed

  • your knowledge in aviation is next to nothing mate...please stop talking bullshit

  • @Kommandant10 Facts are not b/s

  • why not? its a clever idea.

  • you are right when driving any kind of vechicle as humans we have the need of have the hands controling something

  • Are the airbus aircraft with the side stick controller (basically everything not the A300 or A310) more difficult to fly opposed to other aircraft such as the Boeing's which use the yoke? That seems to be the case on FSX thats why

  • LOL you can't compare this to FS:P

  • I'm not trying to compare it to FSX because I know its a extremely oversimplified game, but I always read about pilots having prefrences with certain aircraft and I'm just curious if the fly by wire airbus aircraft are more complex

  • @pilotmanmax If you buy the right addon airplane like a PMDG, the planes are the same in function.

  • Yes I know that! I am saying, you still can't think they would feel the same even if it is PMDG or Airsimmer.

  • DonLduk , I perform always a manual approach without autopilot and autothrust... It's better fly manualy to maintain skills. Think that every time that we go to a simulator during a failure we always lost AP and A/THR

  • the hardest part in a fly , landing

  • so how often do pilots actually land the plane? or the machine does it for them ?

  • Most of the time, once the aircraft is setup on the ILS, the pilot flying with disconnect the autopilot anywhere from 2500ft above to 500ft and then fly it to touchdown - sometimes they will do an autoland as they have to do one at least once a month I believe or something near that :)

  • Amazing machines.

  • @LawrenceErnie More like retard machines lol

  • i don't care what anybody says but being in a pressurised cabin is by no means comfortable or nice or healthy

  • Excellent video! I l love it! Great quality! Keep up the good work!

    Just a simple question:

How did you get in the jumpseat? Did you just ask out the pilot?

    Please reply!

  • 737 everytime, its an actual aeroplane. Flying an airbus is like flying a robot or a computer.

  • robots and computers are the future ! and actually boeing thought about that. The B777 and B787 are equiped with the fly by wire system. And they haven't died by wire yet though !

    happy take-offs and landings .

  • muy buen videooo te felicito espectacular =) 5/5

  • kiss the run way wow dude

  • the co pilot wear a cup ^_^..

  • Comment removed

  • it says retard because its telling the pilot to retard his thrust or idle his thrust that way the aircraft can slowly kiss the runway

  • Well, i like all of airplanes...I dont go lose my time talking about Airbus and Boeing.

  • Well i hate airbus to be honest

  • why? you already pilot an airbus or boeing to think it?

  • No but boeing are miles better. But thats just what i think.

  • Why Boeing is better?

    Talk to me...

If you never pilot the Airbus, yu cant talk about it. You dont have arguments...

  • Well i personally dfon't like the side-stick controller. Its really awkward to use. I dont like the look of them either. dide its just my opinion why r u gettin so angry?

  • No, i am not angry, and i dont go lose my time talking about it.

  • you are very immature in your speech, mister simCrew, your're judging by the lag you have on flying the A320 compared to the B737 on the sim ? Actually it's not only about you but every single person that says that airbus is better than boeing or vice versa. Life is not lived for judging and discriminating. We have on common passion and dream : "Aviation" and there is no better plane than an other but only, suits better for different types of operations. So peace and safe flights everyone !

  • I'm not being immature. The side stick controller is quite difficult to use and i don't like it. But thats my opinion. Others may not share it but thats my own. JMfan1392 has said it perfectly. Airbusses are waay to advanced. I mean boeing have good aircraft with waay more sales than airbus but still havent used the fly by wire system.

  • the side stick controller is pretty much tha same and even simpler when used to it, it's pretty much like a yoke cause when flying especially at landing (in the left seat) you have your right hand on throttle and the left hand on the yoke. If you realize it's exactly the samething with sidestick but with much less efforts you have the results. but of course it is a preference

    happy flights

and for the sales i'm not sure...

  • No the yoke is closer and easier to acces than the sidestick. The yoke is much more practical and smoother. Joysticks are for gamers.

  • there have been some tests on the manipulation of yokes and sidsticks, and the conclusions are that the manipulation of the sidesticks are much easier for the brain as you are treating all the axis simultaneously. But for the yoke it's a little different, you tend to, input in one way then in an other (genraly first you use the aileron axis then elevator) the reactions are slower.( Slightly) So it doesn't make a big difference. But that's why the fighter jets have sidesticks. to gain speed

  • but it's obviously a preference. But if you type rated on a A320 and prefer yokes you are not gonna quit the job just because of sidesticks.

  • No,fighters have them because a yoke would be to big in the little crammed cockpits of them. The sidestick is also quite confusing when it comes to knowing where your elavators are.

  • @SimCrew1 actually boeing use the fbw minus sidestcik 777 and 787

  • oh WoW,i wanna travel,
