Tuning your Ameritron Amplifier - Part 1 of 2

I've owned an AL-811H amplifier for well over a decade and so this two part video was a great review. I had never really adjusted the ALC in the amplifier and so part two was very helpful. I really like my amplifier except for one thing. That relay noise when keying the microphone is loud and distracting and not a lot of fun when operating VOX. A major improvement for Ameritron would be to upgrade those relay switches. 73 and good DX all! :)

This is a somewhat useful video, for hams who have this exact make/model amplifier and don't have a manual (or can't read). I just wasted 3:09 of my time.

This is a great video, A DVD should be included in ALL Ameritron Amps shipped.

Then go buy Ameritrons Amp Tuner Pulser. You'l tune to full power safely in just a few seconds. It would be great if Ameritron would make a video of the Tuner Pulser also.

This is a GREAT way to teach people to use your equipment!!! I have this amp and SEEING how to tune it is much more informative than just READING about it. PLEASE - give us more!! I would like to see videos on the MFJ-994B tuner and the MFJ-868 wattmeter.

Would be better if the needles on the meters and the values of the dial settings could be easily seen.
