When I attended public elementary school in Texas, there were maybe one or two fat kids in our entire grade level. But we had both P.E. _and_ recess periods, no sugar drinks, and no cameras.

Today I live in San Antonio, and damn near every kid I see is a fatass. When the local school lets out, it's a fucking herd of greasy little piglets. What used to be called "adult-onset diabetes" is now instead called "type 2", because most of them have it by about age 10.

I used to eat like I was getting paid for doing it when I was in school But then again after homework was done I spent the rest of the evening biking, running, playing sports, and walking all over the place.
