The word "rapture" simply means "the catching up" which IS in the Bible. Interestingly the Latin word used to translate caught up in the Latin translation of the Bible is "Rapio" or "Raptura" or something and THAT is where the English word "Rapture" was coined from I understand. So in a very very real way apparently, "Rapture" IS in the Bible. Absolutely "Caught up" is! It is a very weak point when folks try to say rapture is not in the Bible. No English word is! It's translation.

If ANYONE listens to Harold Camping at all on his show the Open Forum then it is so very hard to believe that they don't know about 1994 and the fact that he did say that there was a very high likelihood that 1994 might be the end, this person saying "new campingites" not knowing about it is either a lie or twisting I'd guess. Also on page 504 of his book "1994?" he actually wrote that 2011 HAS to be the year to satisfy Scripture. 2011 is not "another prediction" it is a correction.

The word "rapture" simply means "the catching up" which IS in the Bible. Interestingly the Latin word used to translate caught up in the Latin translation of the Bible is "Rapio" or "Raptura" or something and THAT is where the English word "Rapture" was coined from I understand. So in a very very real way apparently, "Rapture" IS in the Bible. Absolutely "Caught up" is! It is a very weak point when folks try to say rapture is not in the Bible. No English word is! It's translation.

If God wanted a Rapture then it would be known as Rapture and would be very clearly stated.
"Rapio" is the Base word for Rape.
It is also the word Christians point out to say that Rapture is in the Bible.
That's like saying "Fuck" is really just a shortening of the word "Firetruck"
Moses law is clear, Jesus teachings are obvious, Melchizedek didn't speak in Riddles.
So why does it take translation of a word that doesn't translate correctly to make a Rapture?

For one to object to May 21st, 2011 one must have BIBLICAL AUTHORITY to do so. Objections cannot be based upon consensus, traditions or fear. God has given far too many biblical proofs for anyone to disregard May 21 simply because he or she does not like it.

Anyone with the slightest education on geography knows that countries in asia, middle-east are already several hours ahead of us as I write this. That means when its 9am on May 21 in NYC, it'll be midnight May 22 in Sydney Australia. Comments anyone?...

At that time christians in Sydney should start getting pulled up. And CNN and NBC will be there to televise the whole event. And since its not May 21 in our part of the world, then technically some people can still repent and get saved...out of fear. Does this make sense? The world is not FLAT!!!!
