That's the thing with "human rights" -- it's become a sound byte that we hear so much we're willing to forget to consider its implications, namely that "human rights" don't just apply to Americans, they apply to everyone. Furthermore, they are not something to be afforded and taken away by our constitution or government -- they naturally exist regardless.

Lindsey Graham says "some of these people will die in jail"
so John Kerry says "If they deserve to be executed on the basis of that finding, then that is what we have to do."
Kerry goes to the right of Graham? So Graham sits there and nods his head yes to the notion of executions and firing squads.
