im new to water cooled sys in computers, i have blacklight leds and i was wondering if i could put highlighter maker fluid in with the water to make it glow or would that ruin the computer or the water sys. or both?
@jlc2100 lol np man just remember you still should change it every couple of months to reduce gunk buildup. i will be doing my first watercooled build on monday. Gonna be watercooling my xfx 6970 :) should be easy as pie. just having problems, trying to figure out were to install my resevoir cause its not bay lol
@jlc2100 how does it evaporate its all inclosed it has nowere to go. lol it would turn to steam then drop back in and no it never gets that hot lololol
u need to get rid of that trash shitech before it starts rusting in your loop. everything else is looking pretty nice but u might wanna think about putting 2 ddc's in series to help move more fluid cause from the looks of that res the coolant is barely movin
@pendrin2020 Clearly you don't know how water cooling works. You still need fans to blow air through the radiators in order to cool off the coolant. If you want a quiet system, then use quiet fans and radiators that will work well with them.
@Vortex1988 As you said, you need fans to blow air across RADIATORS. the case itself radiates little heat. I was pointing out that he blew several hundred dollars on cooling blocks and several hours in setup for a system that more or less doesn't need more than 3 fans attached to a radiator, and he still has 4 or 5 fans mounted inside the case.
PS. I have a BA in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Mechanical. I understand how a PC water cooling system works.
@pendrin2020 Ahhhh didn't catch that before... dumbshit left the radiator in the case... Classic. you know they make $50 cases with rubber-lined outputs on the back panel for coolant lines Right? Have been doing that for about 4 years now.
@pendrin2020 also very fuckin ugly. i woulda personally designed it so the radiator is the fresh air but hey sometimes your stuck goin a certain route with some cases, nothing a dremel cant fix though
@pendrin2020 You still need other fans in the case to supply cool air to the radiator, or if the radiator fans are pulling cool air in, then you still need exhaust fans to get the hot air out of the case.
How is the feser one coolant? I heard that it can get clogged in water blocks, but I think that might just be a rumor I've heard. How's it working out for you?
Hi im new to custom pc can u tell me whr to get all these coolng equipment from.budget is not an issue.but want a sick piece like this..cheers for gud work
I don't know much about liquid cooling, wanted to ask, i was thinking of building an entire case from scratch and since i wanted it to be "completely" closed.... would it work out? would the liquid cooling be enough? i was thinking of only putting a couple of small fans on the back, one lower inwards and one higher outwards to circle the air inside...
@M4XC4V413R4 Well you know you'd have to have all the pci slots and I/O panel perfect that would be the tough part of the case, but as long as you have fans on your radiators, how ever many you want, then chaa, it would be enough
so north bridge south bridge gpu and cpu are all liquid cooled? get the ram next and you wont even need any case fans just a massive radiator for it all.

When using a water cooling PC do you have to change the water often...does the water eventually evaporate?
