What I've noticed with metal and pop bands is that those in the metal/hard rock genre have a habit of lasting longer than pop bands. Slipknot has lasted and will last longer than some groups (backstreet boys, jonas brothers etc.) And same with other metal and hard rock bands like AC/DC, metalica, iron maiden etc.
