  • WHAT IS THAT HEATSINK??? I HAVE TO HAVE ONE!

  • @Korvinzilla if u mean the cpu cooler its a coolermaster v6

  • Im gonna Buy it for my Dual core , 250GTS , 2GB PC . I could get an i7 , but every works well (: . So i prefer to buy an High end Case (:

  • Quad SLI? hell those are ATI cards!

  • @HOBO129 Actually , those were Nvidia GPU , theres some models with red covers...

But i forgot what model it was :l

  • what cooler is that?

  • @leonox123 I think that that cooler is called the V6 (might be some letters after it)

  • @leonox123 Cooler Master V6GT

  • What is that huge CPU cooler?!

  • is the antec 1200 still the best case? if not second to this? someone pls answeer im gonna get my first high eng rig this august(im 14)

  • @ashrocks87 The Antec will definately be much cheaper and still an excellent option. Some of Antec's employees obviously take their jobs for granted though the job that was done on mine made that clear to me, I had to RMA the first because it had rust in the motherboard tray and hard drive cages in the screw threads. And I had to pull the top fan apart because the O-ring was on the side wall not on the shaft under the cir-clip so it kept making knocking noises.

  • @acidspoodie Pt.2. So I fixed the top fan (my replacement 902) still basically I had to pull the whole case apart and re-assemble it to eliminate any vibration because it wasn't put together too tight. Now the top fan thing seems to stem back even to pre-release web reveiws as I've read a few that the reviewer seem to make a point about it. But other than that 902-1200 Antec cases are awesome, noisey on full with no humming, but no where near as loud a a gpu fan.

  • @acidspoodie

you mean getting a brand new one?

  • @ashrocks87 Brand new one? RMA means Return Material Authorization (send back under warranty due to fault for replacement). If that's what your asking. Otherwise yeah I prefer to buy stuff brand new with warranty, second hand stuff can be dodgy.

  • @acidspoodie

oh? i didnt know that! ahhahaha.

yeah, im gonna buy brand new pc parts..we're gonna sell our car this august because of a new company car. so we're getting spendy spendy with our money so i guess i can buy the higher end stuff

  • @ashrocks87 But it depends on how much your parents are willing to spend, if your limited to choosing parts to fit a budget then I'd definately get the antec and spend the extra elsewhere, like gpu or cpu or 6 core compatible motherboard. But if you can go nuts then go nuts with HAF-X. I'm definately going to get the HAF-X since my pc will eventually be a Multi-Media/Gaming rig. I need those hot swaps for backing up and the wheels, I'll paint them chrome, like my lawn mower.

  • @acidspoodie

does the haf x have dust filter? and does it cost like 2x the antec 1200??

if it costs like the antec 1200's range then it's ok i guess

  • @ashrocks87 it has dust filters

The Antec 1200 @ newegg is $149USD down from $199USD.

The HAF-X is out in June @ $199USD according to Hardware Cancucks Review. After seeing that review I can't actually recommend the Antec 1200.

    Copy and paste this: watch?v=jLFbjR97moM

  • @acidspoodie this is gonna be my specs. pls feel free to change things here because as i said, it's still in august case: antec 1200 / cm hafx cpu:i7 gpu:radeon 5870 mobo:asus rampage 3 or p6t deluxe v2 or msi eclipse sli HDrive:seagate 1tb dvdrom:samsung sh233 or something Psu: corsair 1000w cpu cooler: CM hyper 212 plus RAM:patriot viper 2x3 gb OS: windows 7 professional or Ultimate... pls if you want, change it into better stuff.. i will get stuck with this until it gets obsolete.thanks
  • @ashrocks87 get 2 500gb and put em in raid 0

  • @neider1

does it differ if i use 2 500gbs instead of 1 tb?? raid 0 will be faster??

    im new to this

  • @ashrocks87 raid 0 will be faster, you must have 2 identical HDD and set them from the begin in RAID 0.

Half of the data will be on one HDD and the other half on the other HDD.

So when it loads the data will be loaded form 2 HDD so it will be faster.

Even faster is an 80GB SSD drive, but those are very expensive

  • @neider1 '

oh ok! what hdd do you recommend??

  • @ashrocks87 an SSD if you have an large buget, or otherwise any 7200rpm 64mb cach HDD will do. look for the Western Digital EARS serie

  • @neider1

i dont wanna spend much on an ssd if it costs much more if i can just buy two hdds..

should i go for 2 500gbs western digital??

  • @ashrocks87 look for these Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EARS

Or otherwise any 7.200rpm 64mb cache will do, you can also 32mb cache but thats slower with small files

  • @neider1

    geez there's no 500gb caviar green 64mb...

hey how about i buy the caviar black 500gbs instead?

  • @ashrocks87 any will do just 7200rpm and 64mb cache

  • @neider1 Hey Neider, what would work better, 2 hdd running raid 0 or 1 SSD?

  • man...too bad i cant put in four 120mm 2000rpm fans beside it anymore =(

  • I like it but not as much as my Cosmos S!

  • i want!

  • Hmmm, this or the PC p80?

  • The sides of the front bezel look so rugged it's sickkkk

  • does any1 know wat cpu cooler that is in the hafx?

  • @XtremePCGaming I'm guessing that it's a CoolerMaster product.

  • @XtremePCGaming I've been wondering too, it looks pretty sleek.

  • obsidian is still a lot better in my opinion.

  • @Merts478 so true mate this is the exact same as the 932

  • @Merts478 You cant have 4way sli in obsidian... it does not support xl-atx

  • Im not a big fan of the HAF styling but I might have to buy this when it comes out. Its big, has lots of airflow and since I have an antec 900 I swore I would never buy a case that doesn't have dust filters. If this is under $250 Au Ill buy it.

  • Who the heck need a quard sli`?

  • I will sell my ATCs 840 and buy this, can't wait :D

  • I said that the 800D is still better for water cooling..Airflow isn't a large part of a wc setup except the radiator.

  • fuckin awesome....AWESOME!!!!

  • 200mm??? the haf932 has friggin 230mm lol

  • Awesome case, and release version will have dust filters, you can find all the info on the case on the CoolerMaster webpage. I want it to have those cool wheels like the HAF 932 though, i loved those wheels case i could move it around when my case was on the floor.

  • The X will definitely be the number one choice for air cooling when it is released. For water cooling, the 800D will still be the best choice (imo)

  • @DandyDuckie I admit 800D got lots of room and better cable management but its has a really poor airflow! everybody knows that!

  • jizz-in-my-pants worthy

  • Not bad, about time they coat the interior black. Regarding the Corsair Obsidian 800D comment, this case has no dust filters by the looks of it... com'n this is not asking for much. Still prefer my 800D.

  • @Mariusz803 Believe it or not..the final release of the HAF X will have dust filters.

  • @DandyDuckie

    Ok good to know then.

  • but what is this like for water cooling though?

  • this case is excellent for my second computer build have to wait for it to come out

  • start saving for this case nice..

  • Impressive

  • when is computex?

  • @heydude09876 june

  • I don't know what to do with my ATCS 840... maybe I'll keep my LGA 775 rig in it and build my LGA 1156 rig in the HAF-X.

  • looks good, i hope the 922 x looks a little nicer, this looks even more military then the 932, anyways looks good.

  • I WANT IT NOW!!!!!

  • I would trade my ATCS 840 for this.

  • If there's dust filters on all of those intake fans then i'd go with it because protecting my hardware from the dust monster is priority number one. Right now though i'm leading towards the Silverstone FT02 but i'll definately get the HAFX if there's dust filters on every intake.

  • A Video on coolermaster's channel confirms dust filters for the haf-x, whether or not they put one on the side panel is an interesting question. Lets hope they do :D

  • Honestly, this looks fail to me. The only thing it has over the HAF932 is quad sli support, and honestly the way Nvidia has been doing lately who cares.

  • This HAF X is even better than Corsair 800D...

  • @testkurva The Corsair 800D was never a good case. It's so overrated; I don't know why people like it so much. Sure it's big, sure it has lots of cable management, and sure it has a window. But the damn case has absolutely no ariflow. The only use for the 800D is if you're going with water cooling.

  • @Vortex1988 even then (with airflow) some components like hdds will suffocate...

  • @vlefteris right....

  • @Vortex1988

infact if you have 280 $ for the case, sure you should have the money for the water cooling too.

  • @DEABlade While that's true, I'm sure there are better cases out there for water cooling than the 800D.

  • @Vortex1988 And thats what most people buy it for.

  • @Vortex1988 Corsair sells water cooling so ...

  • @YamiPoyo Corsair sells those little ALC coolers for cpus. If you used one of those, you would still need airflow for the graphics cards. The only reason to buy the 800D is if you're going to be buying a custom water cooling kit that is going to end up cooling the cpu, motherboard, and graphics cards.

  • @Vortex1988 you can add fans.

  • @Bigducey101 Well no kidding, lol. There are practically no places to put intake fans on this case though, which is the main problem with it if you're planning on getting the case for air cooling. A lack of intake is bad for two reasons.

    1. You don't get cool air into your case in order to cool things off. The hot air is exhausted, but there still isn't any cool air, which is really what helps to cool components

    2. It causes negative pressure, which means dust build up.

  • Comment removed

  • @Vortex1988 Few other cases have more intake fans, and they have two at the front instead. If you want positive pressure you simply take out the top fan closest to the front (this does not come as standard on purchase anyway). The side fan (200mm) and front fan (230mm) will outweigh the 140mm rear and 200mm top fans.

  • @testkurva MM case are the best case out ther!

  • @testkurva i have never wanted a case as much as this one

  • @testkurva I have to say as a owner of Corsair 800D I kinda regret my purshase, I bought it becuse I thought it looked good, had hotswap and was quiet. But unfortunetly it get easily scratched and a magnet to fingerprints and doesn´t cool well despite I have removed all original fans and put two 140mm fans at the top. I wish I had bought the Silverstone raven 1 instead.

  • Bata Bing! 2010 Case of the Year!

  • Hey I don't know if anyone noticed this but they dont show all the accessorys. Also A very big thing I noticed is look to the left of the pci slots, there are to rivit or holes and those are the exact same holes on the CM 692 which are used to mount the VGA bracket. So I think this is a model taken off the line but they never showed what came with it besides the really cool psu cover and other plastic piece. I am sure there will be dust filters, that is such a big deal now it should be standard

  • Rurn on the transcibe audio thing. 7/5

  • Its kinda funny when he says "Ummmmm...The HAF-X is newest series in the HAF series"

  • Guys this case will have dust filters!!

In a forum an CM guy says it WILL!!

Trust me it will have dust filters!!!

  • The front panel and side panel meshes on the whole HAF line ARE the dust filters.

If you're worried about dust, just blow out your case with a can of compressed air or an air compressor. Once a week should do you fine.

  • damn this thing is sexy!! I will sell my sniper for this!

  • I love This HAF X

    kekek

    i have 1 Haf 922, ..

new 1 out planning to change ~

  • @silvergold2007 and i also heard that this time, the hafx will have dust filters :D

  • Um... when is the release date of it? In the video it sounds unintelligible.

  • @trkka He said around Computex, which is June 1-5

  • IT WILL HAVE DUST FILTERS.

Trust me, I was been in a conference of Cooler master

  • @LrazorR Thanks man...Now I'm not the only one saying that the HAF-X will be the 1st case in the series which will include dust filters... =)

    larsenmark277 please rest your case...

  • Still no dust filters :/

  • WRONG! It WILL have dust filters!!!

  • @vlefteris

OKAY! I dont hear that in the video

  • @larsenmark277 yes because it's a simple presentation and not a review, besides the case still is not available and not final and some things like the dust filters will be added later. I have a good source. Trust me.

  • @vlefteris

    LOL! Good source..

Yea all the cases in that haf line has NO dust filters

  • @larsenmark277 Then why in your 1st you say still no dust filters? It seems that you have hopes for dust filters...

And here I come and tell you it WILL have and you still don't believe me...You're hopeless...

  • @vlefteris LOL! No i just say: WTF! it STILL has NO dust filters. No i care...

    Yes your source is hopeless

  • Ok we'll be here by June which is the release of HAF-X...

  • @vlefteris

LOL Yea that is what he say in the video

  • I have made dust filters for my haf 932 and its great...this new haf have some good upgrade.

  • This case will have apart from Black interior : Dust filters On/OFF LED

I'm gonna get it! Can't wait!!

  • I rly wanted a nice black interior for the HAF 932 so this HAFX is aweome, cant w8 for the relese

  • Im so getting it.

  • this is what the 932 should have benn

  • been*

  • @ChronoDetector

meh... this is a great case, and slightly better than a 932, but if you have the 932... i wouldn't upgrade.

  • The two hotswap sata bays are cool but where is their cooling?
