  • The smallest guys in Hollywood eh? They forgot Danny Devito.

  • This is more about a time where everyone in Hollywood was talking about how Dudley was becoming a big drunk in real life but it turned out he wasn't drinking, he had a brain disease called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy that was making him look drunk all the time. The guy that played Squiggy has a similar problem.

  • YEW AHRE THE UGLIEST FLAMINGOE AH HAVE EVAH SEEN!!!!

  • What would The Critic have to say about the Arthur remake?

  • @AllenbysEyes It stinks!

  • Arthur: Perhaps the only person in the history of ever to STILL be intoxicated with no trace amounts of liquor in the desert.

  • Russell sucks as Arthur. Pathetic remake. They waited until Dudley died to ruin Arthur. Dudley Moore created Arthur. You can try to copy it, but never succeed. Hollywood is destroying classics now.

  • @illethereal...This clip was taken from the old animated series, The Critic. The voice does almost sound like Dudley, but I'm pretty sure it was one of the folks from the Simpson's that did Arthur's voice here. They did good though. I like the clip. They wrote the script exactly as Arthur would joke about things.

  • This show had such an effect on me that to this day I still, most times randomly, start singing that damn song.

  • Why, there's a piano!

  • OH GOD I'M FUNNY

  • i luvd wyching ths wen i ws a kid.

  • Anime and 9/11 have killed cartoons...

  • @TheSsbcandidates I beg to differ. I can understand 9/11 but not anime. If anything anime is making cartoons tolerable to watch again. If anything 4Kids and the FCC ruined cartoons.

  • Was that Dudley Moore's real voice?

  • OH GOD I'M FUNNY

  • Fetor hepaticus @ 2:00

  • He got the rep as a lush from his symptoms of progressive supranuclear palsy, Still hilarious though :D

  • Awesome !!!!!!!!!

  • Hilarious, but I'm disappointed they couldn't come up with more to make fun of Michael J. Fox for.

  • @TheDSil The critic showed during 94-95. If you want an updated version then just degauss your monitor when he shows up.

  • @Golddanboy I didn't mean the Parkinsons. Michael J Fox had a very defined persona and style of speech, that it seems like they could have done something amusing with.

  • He & Russel Brand are both great at playing Arthur

  • i saw parts of the new arthur remake. its ok but i prefer dudley moore's arthur more than russell brand

  • HA HAAA IM FUNNY!

  • please dont hate me for this question but I was wondering (cause Dudley Moore was just great) but did he voice himself in this show? or was it someone else? subject I having with someone else and either of us are sure-

  • @animeotaku234 Celebrity Voices were impersonated no celebrities were harmed in filming of this episode.

  • I got to admit, for a dying man he sure has a hilarious sense of humor. "Don't look now, but somebody has eaten all your popsicles." < Got me good

  • i wonder what jay would say about movies like the twilight saga or other lame movies of today.

  • A lot of movies today are lame, but not all of them. I bet The Critic could've done something funny with Night At The Museum.

  • @garganrose Same as he's said about everything else:"it stinks."He'd probably be impressed with something like the Triplets of Belleville, though.

  • They should've got the guy who did Pesto in Animaniacs to do Joe Pesci

  • @MrLunitunz chick virenna <---

  • lol I love the squeaky little laugh he give in 0:31

  • look it's gary coleman!!!

    HAHAHAHAHA

  • oh god im funny!

  • The joke "No wonder I dribble so much" is loaded with dark humour, considering how Dudley Moore spent his last days.

The flash cartoons of the Critic, I have to say, were really darn funny also, and they stabbed Hollywood rubbish right in the heart, because the parodies they made were of the real movies. Hopefully they will do another series, sometime in the future, but we'll see.

  • 4,000th view! yay

  • Great Dudley Moore impression!

  • "And you have a cute little butt."

  • "i asked for 2 shots, but this is ridiclous" XD

  • Why there's a piano!

  • My popsicles!!

  • one of my favorite shows ever

  • Best Dudley Moore impresson EVER!!!

  • "I've got a liver the size of coconuts"

  • Don't look now but somebody's eaten all your popsicles!

  • This show was so far beyond its time. Imagine the jokes they would make about the crap that's in theaters today.

  • @diddytke463 True. There's only a few mainstream movies I like nowadays. I don't wanna waste my money the rest of the crap in theaters. I prefer indie flicks.

  • @diddytke463 Transformers and Pirates of the Caribbean would be way too easy of targets.

  • @diddytke463 Sherman would shoot himself

  • The look in his eyes when he sees the piano and just the randomness of the statement...perfect

  • What do you mean "Random"? Haven't you ever watched Monty Python?

  • I don't remember "Little men", what episode was it from?

  • I never grow tired of that hearty guffaw. Ha-HA.

  • "You are the ugliest flamingo I've ever seen." LOL.

  • "This is very serious! You have less then a year to live!

Don't look now... but somebody's eaten all your popsicles." LOL

  • "Perhaps you should see a shrink!"

  • Funny how every media outlet said Dudley was a drunk.Instead of realising he had a brain disease.

    What a pack of animals.

  • In all fairness, Dudley Moore was most famous for playing a drunk character

  • Certainly not in England.

Dudley started in revue in the early 60s and by the mid 60s had his own, massively popular weekly comedy show on the BBC with Peter Cook.He was a genious at Jazz piano.America only took notice of him with Ten and Arthur in the 70s.

  • I imagine there are a lot of people we haven't heard of in the US that are worth hearing about before they make a movie here. If Arthur had been a cokehead, he would have been famous for that and people would have assumed he was on coke towards the end of his life. Stereotypes are crap but I doubt he would have made it in the US as a pianist since most people wouldn't have bothered to listen. Which is a shame. Tho he probably wouldn't have experienced things he enjoyed here without the movies.

  • @mikecelona in reality it was actually his comedy partner Peter Cook, who actually had a drinking problem and died from liver failure

  • *I've got a liver the size of coconuts* Hahahah! I coughed up a lung

  • OMG! lol ~_*

  • HAHAHAH that's ace!

  • alcoholism is one of the greatest things ever

  • who did this voice? maurice lamarche?

  • Yes. He does many of the celebrity impressions in this show.

  • "I asked for two shots, but this is ridiculous!" LOL

  • "And you have a cute little butt"

  • Very funny. I loved Dudley Moore.

  • LOL! I love that! I haven't seen it in ages. I love how the piano just happens to be there, haha!
