such a shame that i don't have this kind of rubik's cube which you have (i'm talking about these strange) :) because i would like to solve it right now :P
His arms arent hairy, its just that you probebly only have hair on your head, and a bit of peach fuzz on your balls. This guy is just a man, and your just a kid.
I See the core design by looking at it for about 1 minuite. It is basically like a 3x3 but with all movable sides extended, and the pieces have to hook to one another, but he makes it into a curved shape on each side.
it appears to be a 3x3x5 with all of the sides extended and functional. the mechanism, i can not say, but it does work and solve the same way. the only difference is that there are corers that you have to put in the right place. as for the name, it doesnt look like a pyraminx at all. so im not sure why it is named that. i am not criticizing here, just pointing out something because im ocd like that. anyway, i would classify this as a mod because it is an entirely new puzzle anyways.
Think of a 3x3, with square one tracks on all 6 faces, and then the extensions added in. It very well could be a mod, but i'm not sure. you'd have to ask lee.
Thanks! I do not know if you call it a mod or not. A chinese 3x3x3 spider core is used but everthing else is new. It uses a spherical internal geometry. I was curious to see how this type of mech would work (more interlocking pieces). Tony's mechanism I am sure is very different.
I wouldn't consider it a build, because the mechanism isn't new. A build uses an entirely new mechanism. For example, the Super X or 1x2x3. A mod uses an existing mechanism. For example, the Knuffy or 3x3x4.

Hmmm... Correct me if Im wrong but I see an XYZ axis linked with four other XYZ axes as its core.
Nevertheless another brilliant build.

i know how it is made, its a shaved down cross cube, but i wouldn't consider it a mod because it is an entirely new mechanism

thats why i don't consider it a mod, no pieces are from a 3x3 except the core, calling this a mod would be like calling the gigaminx a mod

the mechanism is new, the builder made this design all by himself
