No one in the Sabres organization is asking Kassian to put up lots of points right away. He's got a learning curve - especially in the maturity category - but he's skating much better this offseason. Pair him up with (a healthy!) Patrick Kaleta and that 1-2 punch will have some teams cowering in fear. 2 of our other premier prospects, Tyler Ennis and Luke Adam are natural goal scorers, let them handle that and let Kassian go crazy.

Lucic did not have more overall points if you add up their major junior careers, and like I said all along, Kassian had more in his draft year, in fact he over tripled his point production in his draft year, which indicates he obviously is rated as having more NHL potential. As the OHL coaches have all said, Kassian would be better served going to the KHL because he is too physically dominant for another OHL season. I'd be happy to scan my ticket which says "VIP" on it if you'd like.

He's all ove the board on mock drafts I've seen. Some have him top 10, some have him 20-25. I think you can justify picking him in the top 10 if your team is needing a tough guy who can also score. This is one of the deepest draft ever, some third rounders this year would have gone in the first last year. My Wild should pick about 12-14 I think we should snag this guy. I like him on a line with Koivu and PMB.
