Nice to watch - I have a real interest in sub-culture, and Mod is the most comlex to me. I just don't put that music to them people on them bikes. I find it amusing actually, but not in a micky-taking way. I just don't see any connection whatsoever to this Northern Soul style of music and The Who, The Jam or the Small Faces. It's to me, like Causals listening to Dance & Goth. Nothing wrong with it, mind.

@clearviewmind The Who performed a lot of soul numbers in their early days, the mods followed the Who, the mods loved soul and pulling some of those fancy dance moves. The root connection is that simple.

Had a Vespa,Dad hated bikes,so me and my brothers hid it,on a local dump.Had great fun,until Brendan fell off at speed and damaged his leg...Dad spotted him limping...and then to hospital and I got grounded and a smack round the head(Im the eldest)...but it was worth it...happy times!
