I actually think MKWii's RR has the best song, but that's cheating because it's Super Mario Galaxy themed. Considering SMG's soundtrack is much more recognized than any MK game, that's cheating.

You missed out, my friend. The original didn't have as many characters as the newer ones and most of the tracks were revamps of previous ones (Mario Circuit 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.) but it was fun because of the tracks lasting longer (you had to do five laps), characters had specific items they used when CPU-controlled (Bowser had a fireball, Yoshi had eggs, etc.) and every character had his/her own victory theme when in first place.

I've never played first Mario Kart game on the SNES. But everytime I hear this song. It gets me hyped for some reason.

The N64 version of Rainbow Road had a beautiful, calm climatic feel. While this song from the SNE version gives me that "This is the final race!! I need to win!!" kind of feel. Which is why I consider this a good song too. Though I'm more of a fan of the N64 version which I grew up with.

Rainbow Road: Dangerously beautiful. If it wasn't me falling off the road, it was smacking into the Thwomps, spinning out and trying to go past them just to get flattened into a pancake. lol. Regardless, I couldn't get enough of this place despite how frustrating it was just to get into first place and hold that position. lol.
