Disagree with SuperFreedomRock in one point: I never felt Halford peformed "uninspired" - hes just not the "Rampensau" kind of vocalist, he never was. His way of performing requires some remoteness and reservedness, and that's precisely what he was showing back in '83. I was stunned seeing him performing, and if it was just on my old black&white tv...and I still feel this was his finest hour.

will ich haben!!!!!! dvd....video...egal! alles anbieten! das waren noch zeiten,als wir zu 13tent in kumpels stube sassen(ellis waren im urlaub) sternrekorder angestöpselt und los ging die party!

nur blöd,dass der besitzer des reckorders die peilung verloren hatte und einundieselbe kasette ca 5mal gedreht hat!und 3stunden musik nunmal nicht auf eine 30er kassette passt!:-))) hat jemand ne dvd davon?? bonkersmatte@web.de

In anyway wonder that the ZDF (2nd German Television) broadcastet this.....actually the only "music" you get on ZDF is a bunch of idiots who play polka and Bavarian folk music. So this little mistake is excused! ;-)

I remember this like it was yesterday. One the first multilineup heavy metal concerts of it´s kind. And man oh man what a lineup with Priest, Maiden, Def Leppard, Scorpions, Ozzy, to name but a few...They don´t get anymore epic as far as event goes then this...

@itoldunot2fuckwithme I saw it in 83 when it aired on TV. A month earlier or so we got cable in Amsterdam, so I consider myself lucky having watched this almost 30 years ago when I was 18, fuck how time flies.

Some of the "rotund" is an artifact of the horizontal stretch on this video. It should really be 4:3 standard frame, not widescreen.
